Hell-o,
today I have a special guest for MISCHIEF MOANDAY and I proudly present the jinx of the weekend:
THE MAMA!
while waddling barehooved through my backyard she stepped on a bee. With her bush fire swatters she smashed the poor buzz-thing what sat in the grass minding it’s own buzz-iness. That’s super bad bee-havior and the bee-nalty followed swiftly… the bee felt bee-ved and bee-netrated the planta bee-dis of the mama….
… the foot bee-came a ball and therefore it was a football and the mama and the football had to lay on my bed for the rest of the day… Thanks to Mollie for the idea with the vinegar, that helped for the swelling and bee-cause we used bloody red Balsamico, the hoof looked fabulous cre-bee!
It’s fortunately much much bee-tter today, after we removed the sting, the ho-ho-horrible wound is now a small red dot. And the time of sou-beer in bee-d and ice cream served by dad for such bee-nut-ouchies are over… over, mama… O.V.E.R.!
Now to something serious, to make sure that I haven’t forgotten one of the tuneful farters and to make sure aol didn’t eat a mail, I will list the names of the com-bee-titors and if you sent a pic, but aren’t on the list, please scream, bark, meow or buzz as loud as you can, so we can start a big search operation…

Why does the word accident-prone come to mind? Is there an equivalent in French?
accidentogènes… that probably means it is a kind of family curse :o)
Mm – since I never hear of likewise catastrophies from your parents, you could come from a shelter? Or did you have a very scarred milk-man around 9 months before you were born? Ooops, something else springs to mind … accident … birth …
oh noes, poor toes 😦
A bumble-bee had his stingy on my lip a few years ago. A big bump came out, and it hurt like fire! Mum took me to vet. Now I jump away when they come near me. Hope your mum is okay now! High paws and licks
I hope she learnt her lesson and will jump away now too…. if ole mamas can jump LOL
Ha ha, yes if….!
Oh no! I hope she is better now. Love you all so much, Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia
Your poor Mama Easy…Forrest got bit by a bull ant once..he got hives all over and his face got so fat he looked like a Sharpei! Granny is lurgic to bees but spent all summer with her moosh in the sunflowers taking their pictures..funny she never got stung..until a stormy rainy day and she went to bring the outdoor cushions in and one got blown down her top and stung her back..at least she did not end up looking like quasimodo as it must have just scratched her..BOL ..:) paw pats Doc..number 1…theres a first..get it BOL xx
Ouch!!! Poor Mamma! Glad to hear she is getting better now, butt ouch, that must have hurt her paw
Loves and licky kisses

Bees are mean. That’s why I always try to eat them. I think the vinegar idea is fine, but your idea, in the picture, of slobbering on the foot works too. You are Dr. Easy.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Ouch! It must have been like walking on hot coals!
Glad there was ice cream to fix it 😉
that exactly was … I first thought I stepped on a glowing cigarette … seems you know this bee-asts in the grass :o)
I can really feel for your poor mom! A few years back, I stepped on a bee myself and that mean thing stung me in my paw pad. I howled like there was no tomorrow. I refused to walk, and Mom had to carry my 36 lbs a good half mile home while holding the least for Katie at the same time. I too survived, but it was mighty painful! Did you have to carry your mom?
fortunately not…. but now she probably has an idea what we have to do after the next bee-attack… hahahaha
Ouch! I have one of those on my foot. I have been limping but it is getting better. I try and eat the bees. I have had my mouth sting. Momwithoutpaws asks “When are you going to learn?” I guess never.
like me… I still try to hunt them … the mam is glad it was her paw and not mine… guess what? me too LOL
we had clover all over our garden growing up and were always stepping on those bees- I remember the vinegar too- that’s what we used to get the sting out and take the stinger out! Hope mom is ok today!
OUCH what a horrible place to be stung!
Your poor mama doesn’t do well with the bugs and buzzers does she? I can remember getting stung by a bee as a little girl when a buzzer got in a my can of coca cola and I drank it! OUCH! Give her lots of kisses Easy. Link and Spot do that for my mosquiter bites LOL.
Ouch! I was stung in the foot once and it does not feel good.
Double ouch. OMCs Mom says she can feel your mom’s pain too …been there done that don’t wanna do it again either. I hope you mom’s feets are not ticklish cause before long that sting area will start o I T C H!
Hugs madi your bfff
Walking bare paws in the lawn is healthy. Only your mom should wear, as a precaution, of course, this thingy: http://www.dracomaniaonline.eoldal.hu/img/picture/44/15–1-.jpg
Oh, your poor mama! I’m glad she’s feeling better now and her foot has returned to normal. You gave her some nice weimercare there, Easy, and I’m sure that worked even better than the vinegar. 🙂
Oh, my your poor momma was she behaving badly.
Running with no shoes is like running with scissors.
I can’t tell if she was stomping grapes for wine. is that why her foot is red? BOL
xo Astro.
My Mom sent a picture of pharting last week while you were on vacation.
Let me know if I need to send again??
I sadly couldn’t find it, the aol-gremlin probably grabbed it… can you send it again please?
Looks like you have a lot of pawsome pawticipants!
Mom stepped on fire ants a couple of weeks ago and used vinegar too. It really helped!! Glad your Mom is better!
The Florida Furkids
Crap – lost track of time. Sending you my email now. Sorry brother. XOXO – Bacon
P.S. I hope your mom is feeling better!
oh no! Poor mama
Life is beeautifully messy – your mom seems determined to step into the buzz of it! (We’ll remember the vinegar. We grab meat tenderizer and mush it into a paste on a wet body part)
I can’t blame the bee. How would you feel if something big stepped on you? We need bees-they’re half of the birds and bees partnership and without that you wouldn’t be here.
I agree with the bee too… it was self-defence…and the mama got a special bee-dicure for free :o)
Say Easy if mee iss a ‘Purr-amedic’; what wood you bee?? Wait a Dogtur rite???
Dogtur Easy….sure has a nice ring to it. Poor Mumma an her beesmirched paw!!
LadyMum trotss around barefoot an mee wurriess about this happenin to her. Mee showed her yur bloggie an shee said shee will wear her flippyflopss outside frum now on!
Wee so have to watch over our Pawentss don’t wee???
~~~head rubsss~~~ Siddhartha Henry~~~
absolutely… who knows what will lure in the grass :o)
I cannot believe your mum stepped on a bee! OUCH!!! We also can’t believe our mom pharted around and didn’t enter us in your event!
Ouch! Your poor mama I think she’s had more injuries than my mom! Mine says that her mom always packed baking soda on stings. Mine also says that she got stung under her tongue as a little girl living in France!
PeeS:: We are sorry we’ve been absent mom’s been dealing with phone problems for a week!
Well the red balsamic is the good stuff with a little olive oil you could dress your Mom’s foot like a salad. Now onion, I would go straight for the good stuff like tootin fruit beans.
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
Here’s hoping the red spot is gone by now. Wow, that’s quite a list of fart pawticpators. Perhaps we should get a gas mask for this event? 😉
What a disaster with the BEEstly beesting! Good that you took such good care of her foot and turned it into an ingredient for a delicious salad! You and your Dad are so creative……..I was happy to see my name on your farting list. Looks like a whole lot of HOT WIND will be coming from your kraal there in Brittany when the competition starts!
Hugs, Sammy
Ouchies! I’ve stepped on a bee and even sat on one, a BUMblebee. ODIN is NOT on the list!
the search team will look for Odins picture :o)
that would not of been fun at all
Dang Easy, that bee pretty awful for the Mama!
Painful. We hopes your momma is better. stella rose
Ouch ! We’re glad your mom feels better now. Purrs
Oh Easy your poor mommy. We sure are glad she’s okay. We could take some of dat ice cream here too. MOL You got a lot of great entries in your pawlympic event. Mommy wouldn’t let me enter sis Raena, she said dat wouldn’t be nice to make fun of her gas. MOL
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I stepped on a bee once too and I can still remember how bad it hurt. I never go barefoot in the yard anymore. Sounds like your Mom got some good mileage out of that one though….hee hee.
Easy, please send your Mom our very bee-st wishes for a s-bee-dy recovery.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
That must have BEEn painful. She crushed that thing to bits
Poor Mama – we didn’t know about the vinegar remedy. Mom has always had good luck with a baking soda paste. Hope Mama is doing much better now.
Woos – Ciara and Ligthning
Mama sent a photo email, but it didn’t get to you we see..,can your Dad lift a photo from either my FB page. Skyler Braveheart or Mama’s….Michele van Gobes? Xxxxx glad dah Mama is ok…those buzzy things hurt! My Mam is on the lookout for snakes….copperheads…ick…bad for dogs and Hoomans.
I found your photo in a “pending” folder, efurrything is ok, I added it to my owlympig folder :o)
Phew! Great save – thanks!
SHE can’t walk in the grass here; too many bindiis and catheads…ouch.
That’s a lot of farters. Glad we’re far away! Get out your gasmask.
We are glad your mama is better now. You have us on the list so we’re in good shape!
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Dearest MIL,
I am so sorry to hear a bee got you. Last summer I bit one and it caused my face to completely swell up so I know your pain. I hope Easy takes good care of you. Easy’s gal Lee
Sorry to hear about your mom and the bee but we’re glad that she is on the mend. We can’t wait for the Pawlympics to start.
Millie & Walter
your poor Mama!! This has been such a bad year for her!!!!! No more mishaps! Hope her foot is back to normal! xoxo DakotasDen
Glad the mama is on the mend but beecause I am concerned I would like to know what happened to the bee what was minding its buzziness?
Ouch! That sounds awful! Glad to know the vinegar helped
Bee-have now. Your mom was stung from bee-hind on her foot and how trying for everyone but especially your mom. She will bee better soon, we hope. The vinegar idea is one I must try. I wonder if it works for mosquito bites too?
Shoko
I bet it helps… but I would stay away from balsamico that looks scary LOL
somthing bit our mom on her leg and she doesn’t even know what. We have lots of bees and yellow jacket wasps, so we have to be careful
We see Bailey made the fart list!
hugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
OMD I got late to this for adding POTP – maybe not needed now – but the funny thing is that I was outside in the garden today and nearly gotted stung too!!! The sunshine is making all the buzzers bonkers… enjoy your garden Easy… and bee safe. hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Yikes! Those stings and bites sure can hurt. Hope your mama is OK now. I remember stumbling across a nest of yellow jackets when I was watering the garden some years back. Chased me back into the house and still had two caught in my hair.
I got stung by one of those bastards this weekend too!!!
I hope your mom’s foot recovers quickly. I’m told that bee stings drive you crazy with the itching!
Oh no and ouch. I always mixed a paste of baking soda and water for bee stings. It helped take out the sting. For some reason I used to get stung a lot as a kid and my mom always made that for me.
hello easy its dennis the vizsla dog hay oh no stepping on a bee??? those things hav a pointy end for shoor!!! i am glad yore mama is feeling better now!!! ok bye
