BON CHEW & COWCOW,

guess what happened in our crib?

…can you guess it?

…yes.. a new DIY disaster…

..there was the mama, who ripped ole wallpapers from the wall of the guest room…

…and her beloved pups who shredded all that stuff that it fits better in da trash bag

…and there also was a dad who added skirting boards to  da walls…

…butt because he needed too much time, the mama became grumpy impawtient and started to paint da stairs with black color… and that was the “sesame open” to pandoras box and the abyss of sh*tulism…

…suddenly da Nelly heard a noise, ran da stairs down, saw the mama who painted around there and tried to leap over the mama like a lion in a circus… theoretically da Nelly is a lion according to his zodiac but practically  that lion leap was  more a toads jump and he knocked the mama a$$ backwards da stairs down…

… apart from the fact that a big bucket of black paint is the worstest partner for stair jumping , it is also more than stupid to dig your claws into that bucket and and the paintbrush to avoid that both cause a mess on da sanctified turquoise carpet…

…specially when all the effort was anyway in vain… the whole thingy is wrecked

… like the back of the mama…

…we have no clue how to remove the black paint from the mama, the walls and the carpet… butt we know that this day was day 1 of an endless DIY marathon…

HAVE A MARVELOUS MO(A)NDAY ALL

Uh oh! Like I tell my kitty boys, “If you can’t be innocent, try being cute.” I doubt even cute will work here, though.

  2. Oh dear, that is the worst DIY disaster ever! Ouch ouch ouch 😦

  3. Boys just when I think your DIYs could NOT get any worse, they do. Black paint everywhere including your Mom’s hair AND a scraped up back – well – seems to me that you all need a VACATION (in the jail for wild Weims!). Poor Mama and poor Dad – this might be a very tough DIY disaster to recover from!!!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

Hey, hair die for nothing – now your female human can spend the money elsewhere. And since her bruised back does not allow for any new, tight clothing, she can save on the foods, too … The carpet was only a piece of work, light coloured as it was it needed constant vacuuming – less vacuuming now, and less electricity used – even more money saved.
It does not seem like a disaster to me … and the new paw prints on the stairs are a cheap way of designer stairs … No disaster at all, nothing to see here.

(Put some zinc healing salve on that bruise.)

  5. Oh no! This is just awful and your poor mama!

  6. Princess Leah says:

DIY time at our crib is ALWAYS a FUNS time!!!!
Poor Mama though, that looks like a VERY sore back…I am sending some healing licky kisses to make sure she gets well soon
    Loves and licky kisses

  7. grannyK says:

oh no! I hope all is well and nobody is seriously hurt!

OMD… well, on the upside, no broken bones. That’s impawtant. Need those bones to continue the work… hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  9. Charles Huss says:

That was quite a day but Day 1? It seems like you guys have been DIYing for years.

  10. Ouch! I think the house will heal faster than your back. Gosh, I hope you don’t sleep on your back…. 😢

  11. My GBGV Life says:

Oh my, that sounds really bad! Glad you mom did not break any bones, but she still looks a bit wounded.

  12. Ouch that back injury looks painful….maybe it will keep mom’s mind of of any DIY projects for a bit. Da Nelly are you in the Dog house?
    Hugs Cecilia

  13. franhunne4u says:

On a serious note: Maybe next time you consider doing something with paint – get the dogs out in the garden. Better they cause mayhem there but where you are, on a ladder or on the stairs or whatever … those dogs are dangerous.

  14. Brian Frum says:

Oh Mom, that’s a DIY Ouch fur sure!

  15. OMD.

That is one big boo boo on the mommy’s back.
Sorry about the carpet, we have no good ideas
or diy how to fix it. Paint is evil.
When we looked at the photo we thought you
ripped your bed apart… guess not. 😦
My dad did a diy project 3 weeks ago
    mom took him to the
    hospital. His foot is fractured.
Why do they keep doing diy”s

  16. You outdid yourself with this one. That carpet looks pretty too. Or did. Hope you can get the paint out of the hair. Hopefully there isn’t a “for sale” sign posted with Nelly’s picture on it!

  17. I guess now that the paint is all over everything, Mama will have to be like Mick Jagger and paint everything black. Including her hair…

  18. Oh NO!!! So sorry the mama got injured. As if black paint splattered all over wasn’t bad enough.

  19. lapaylor says:

oh. my. dog. what a disaster! This is why I just leave the house like it is with no updating or changes and when we move it will be like a time capsule.

  20. Oh my dog…you two are ruthless! Butt very precious!

  21. This is why we don’t do much work on the house, but when it needs done, we hire someone or blackmail, er, bribe, er, ask my son to do it. Or we just pay someone, LOL. It costs less in the long run. Good luck.

  22. Edie Chase says:

Is this Nelly’s idea of an April fool’s joke? Sending healing thoughts to da Mama.

  23. Not cool – it wasn’t even April fools Day yet.
Only hope is to do that black like Mick ( but not an injured/sick Mick)
Gads- the ouchies da mamas get…will trade you pix of an 8 inch forearm scar from last Jan when the Molly decided to be the sled dog and drag Staff down the driveway while in pursuit of a bike rider….sigh.)
Hope it heals fast and hurts none! (and you win the lottery and can hire your own staff!)
It’s safer to have the dogs be gardeners?

  24. Oh gosh, we would never in 87 million years have guessed that there would be another DIY disaster in your crib…
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.

  25. Kismet says:

Take mama to a doctor. Don’t do DIY doctoring.

  26. Uh-oh! You boys better move out for a few days while da mama cools down. 🤪

  27. Bella, Roxy and says:

You surpassed yourselves this time, boyz.

  28. The OP Pack says:

Oh no!!! We guess the Mama really didn’t want to be a blonde anyway:) Seriously, we hope she is OK. No more DIY projects for a while.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  29. Your poor mama’s back! Not just her back either. Now she has the hairstyle like a dalmation!

  30. That’s a really bad looking ouchie your Mama has. We hope she feels better soon and that you can figure out how to get the paint out.

  34. You boys did a grand job on the Mischief Monday today. Our paws are crossed for your mom that she feels better soon and finds a way to get the paint out of everything.

  35. Jan K says:

That was a bigger than usual “WHOOPS”!

  36. M. K. Clinton says:

That is a BIG OUCH and UH-OH! I am so sorry for your mom and her poor back. We have no recommendations on removing the paint. You all need to wear protective gear when you take on any DIY projects.

  37. HOLY CRAP! OMD, Ma gasped as she was readin’ the sequence of events, and she says that this sounds like something ‘I’ would do, and she is feeling so much for your Mama!! I hopes she feels better soon, and just thinks, she can go shopping for a new rug nows! ☺ sendin’ lots of POTP for both your Mama and the house 😉

  43. O. M. D.
How awful indeed. Tobogganing down stairs with a paint bucket is not good for anyone or thing…not to mention DaNelly…

That sort of thing happened years ago in another den, with a bucket of white paint…but at least no ouched up spine.

Did your Mom try some arnica ointment and also arnica pellets under the tongue. Good for trauma and bruising.
You best stay out of the way for a bit, Nelly… just woofing.

POTP to your Mom and best wishes to your dad who now has to take care of two pups and a very ouchie Mom.

  44. Oh no! You are in HUGE trouble, N. With a mama who is injured AND painted black along with much of the house, you should probably steer clear of all humans for a while. Plus hide under the bed.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake
