BON CHEW,
look the daffodils are out…
…we saw them while walking around the lake of La Cheze…
…do you think the early berds will have a chance?
I hope so….they are like tiny little suns and maybe they can melt away the grumpy farty winter like the wicked witch?

Spring is starting to wake up even though it doesn’t feel like it,xx Speedy
You have flowers already? I am so jealous 😬
WOW……I love those little sunshiney flowers too but no sign of them peeking out of the dirt here yet….lucky you!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, please do your magic dear daffodils! Enough of this winter already.
Things are starting to grow here, too. But I fear they won’t make it! I know we will have more winter. February is too early for things to grow here. We have had strange weather this winter and it is warmer than usual. I do hope it continues but fear we might have a cold snap!
How we love cheerful daffies! Too bad we only have ice here at the moment.
It’s another snow day for me today. Yuck! Lucky you having flowers popping up!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Da Phenyy your daffies are way ahead of ours…we just love those happy posies.
Oh and if you heard a ginormous roar last night it was my Dad reading your poetry.
He just loved it too
Hugs madi your bfff
Everything living outside is dead still for the winter, buried under snow, and frozen in the cold. The little yellow flower looks very vulnerable. Maybe build a house around it to keep it safe.
Gosh, you’re diffs are making a much earlier appearance than over here, mine are barely breaking earth! Butt, aren’t they a wonderful sight as Heralds of Spring
Loves and licky kisses

Oh, those small glimpses of warmer days… the hope of Nature! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I love daffodils and I hope these make it. Thankfully, none were brave enough here to try to grow as we’re getting blanketed with lots and lots of snow. It started last night and looks like it could be continuing through the weekend. It’s beautiful!

I hope you’re right, Phenny. I saw some outside the church yesterday, too.
Oh brother we agree – go away WINTER. No one likes you anymore. Sorry to be the one to tell you that. Snorts and rolls with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon
Farty tarty go away…..Sunday Bunny Come Today
Nice Phenny, we are sure ready for blooming season to arrive here!
Old man winter passes gas?
We are also starting to see flowers here in Vancouver, Canada but the rest of Canada is snowed under! Enjoy the daffodils when they bloom! 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
Mom loves daffodils but they don’t grow here in Florida. Happy Friday!
The Florida Furkids
I love daffodils but did not dig up any of my bulbs to move. Maybe they will pop up before we leave. Hee hee!
Flowers!! We would love to see some flowers. The perennials are nder at least 3 feet of snow. They’ll be buried until May at this rate.
Thanks for the glimpse of paradise to us.
Shoko and Kali
We hope those flowers don’t get a surprise from Mother Nature! A cold surprise.
It’s been so warm here, I should have posted that we saw a red geranium on the front porch of a neighbor blooming! And this morning we saw a sunny daffodil thinking about opening and our first crocuses blooming. I’m sure the daffodil will wait a few days since tomorrow it will be back in the 20’s instead of the 60’s. ☀️
Our dillys aren’t anywhere near that tall yet!
Daffodils in January
Is that right?
Oh no, silly me, it’s February. What happened to January?
Madi and Mom have Daffodils, too… you lucky people and pup! “like tiny little suns”… love that!
We would love to see some spring flowers!
hugs
Hazel & Mabel
Da furst daffys are up on our walk!
We hope the weather stays nice so your daffy dills will bloom. We are months away from seeing anything like that around here.
Oh YAYAYAYAYAY for daffies!! They are starting to bloom here too and hopefully they will push all the cold and rain to the curb!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Arty & Jakey
We hope the daffodils are able to last a long time. We won’t see any here for a couple of months. It is too cold.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You already have daffodils growing ? Ours are not bigger than a few centimeters ! Purrs
No flowers here, we’re still covered in ice. I love daffodils.
Oh, daffodils, it is so wonderful to see them. Thank you for sharing
Oh your daffys are gonna be FABulous! We never got winter. We went from fall to spring and are stuck here. Yes, it might sound wonderfuls, butts we needs some rain, and Ma likes some cold, it’s just weird. Ma is wearing shorts right now at 8pm. not right. Anyhu, you can come overs and we can drown our sorrows in a pitcher of margaritas!!! hehehee
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
shorts? oh wow!!! we have -2°c with shorts our life would be short hehehehe
So lucky! You’ve got daffs ready to bloom. I have 15″ of snow…..
We too hope the flowers bloom. They sure would be purretty. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
We sure hope they do, Phenny, and please send some our way too! We could use some sunny faces around here too!
Daffodils are always a welcome sign that Spring is on the way.
A sign of spring in your neck of the woods. Here, I am afraid a few more months of winter much to Bailey’s delight. Late spring often means Bailey is challenged to find a spot for business when the snow is rapidly disappearing. Your photos have got me thinking about what to plant in the raised beds this year.
Good to see daffodils blooming over there, Phenny!
That’s neat. We love daffodils

Too early here for daffs, but we do have little white snowdrops!
