and welcome to a new epawsode of our funny cooking contest… and together with da CANADIAN CATS, we present you today:

… guess what we make? A classics… fake sauce hollandaise… oh yeah!

recipe by:

… it is named hand blender because you need a third hand to hold the blender and da   pot while you add da liquid butter stuff…

we used da howlandaise for making bread  nests with smoked salmon.

… it’s super easy, we used a bread baking mix, a pack of smoked salmon and the sauce we prepared with our own paws

…. and after 30 minutes in the oven, we got fabulous salmon nests..

… who da thunk it? … if we have our paws in da pot, you can be sure that the result will not cause da runs…

… viola… ready… dig in and if you want use some worcestershire sauce on top…

….let’s see if it is hot enough… ouch darned crap it is…

…. I wouldn’t eat that there is dog spit involved… just saying…. and humans can become sick from that because caine tongues were at places we don’t want to name in a family friendly blog ya know?

…. and while one shares his weisenheimer advices, the other one has to work like a slave with cleaning da counters…. where are da house elves please?

Uhm – might just get a Knack-und-Back-dough from the shop and make your recipe – I still have some salmon in the fridge and that is overdue. It is smoked, so no worries.

    Hugs, Teddy

Mom loves hollandaise sauce but won’t go near any kind of fish. Nice to know how to make it from scratch. We would definitely like the salmon even without any sauce.

it looks yummy and we are used to dog spit in this house… about the hot stuff for canines, when i hand a tidbit that might be hot, I touch it to my tongue and do the is it to hot for Beau.. yesterday, I wanted bob to taste something I was cooking, and i picked up a piece for him to taste and touched it to my tongue… we both laughed and he tasted it.

Way to go boys, that looks great! There are lots of humans around her that get sauced on the holidays!

  14. Mom said she doesn’t like fish, but your creation actually made her want to eat it! And she has always wondered why people don’t have third hands if G-d intended us to have things like hand blenders and more than 2 dogs.
