Hello,
here we are. We try to carry on and we look for a way back to life. All I can say today is THANK YOU! You were our guardian angels. I will write more about the things what happened since everything changed. But not today. Today I will post for friends whose hearts are as heavy as ours… for friends who have to make the hardest decision ever…
This is for you Pam and Sam… we are on your side and our thoughts are with you….
We welcomed Sammy at Camp Municipal St. Yves near La Trinité-Porhoët.
It’s a place with a lake and a music pavilion for festivals, where bands are playing who never make it to a small town or a big city, to say nothing of the Billboard Charts…
In winter this place is Nowheresville, but at least Sammy met the swim team of brittany… they are pretty good swimmers, in comparison to anvils and flat irons…
The day was cold and gray and so we tried to get some warm drinks, but….
we fortunately met this fella, who offered a cup of tea …
… we decided to give the tea back to nature and looked for something we can eat here before the re-opening in may…
… and fortunately Sammy is a Cat Scout and he always has a fishing rod on board… Always Prepared!, right?
Sammy was so kind to handle the bbq grill while we waited with our hands in our pockets, to make sure a re-opening of this camp ground in may is possible …
Then Sammy sadly had to hop in his air balloon, because a lot of friends will show him their places today….
This is a lovely trip for Sammy.
My heart is heavy today, but I know Easy will be waiting to welcome our dear friend.

Angel easy sure can entertain! Seems like there are places in France much like here in Scotland… Oct 31? Fine. Nov 1st? Bring your own flask! Blessings and hugs, YAM xx
I’m sure Sammy enjoyed his visit to you.
It’s lovely to see you today.
What a fabulous place for dear Sammy to visit..Angel Easy you are a superb host my sweet friend…today we feel an extra heaviness..but love will help us all…..xxx
The slight difference between Easy and Sam is that Sam is over 20 (in 2011 they wrote they had adopted him 16 years ago, which makes Sam the ripe old age of 21, if I got my maths done correctly.) At that age we know our furry friends will not carry on much longer. It’s already a miracle they survived for so long. That makes the farewell not less painful – but a little easier. And we are a little more prepared. Still painful.
Your fur-baby was taken in his prime, by surprise. That leaves all the mourning for now, after death, while Sammy’s owners can come to terms more slowly with the inevitable sad fact that is death. Plus – they have over 20 years of colourful memories to fall back on. A huge difference. *hugs*
To honour Easy I joined into this blog-hop.
Angel Easy, you continue to think of others in your truly generous spirit. Sammy will be with you soon but he’s having a very special final fling, thanks to you and many, many others.
Such a wonderful visit for Sammy.
We wish we could do more for you…..here are some more hugs from us!
You can’t beat a bar B Q party whether shrimp, bacon or vegan sausages!
Another sad day, in a sad week ~ and yet surely Easy will joyfully welcome his furriend Sammy with a bark and a tail wag when he arrives at heaven’s gate today. Friends on earth and friends forever … hugs to all who loved them.
Oh what a glorious but somewhat sad trip to Brittany!! I loved the picnic – especially the BBQ and of course the litterbox with a ladder (!). I have always wanted to see what my best bud Easy hung out with his Mom and Dad…..now I see why he loved it so – it’s beautiful and so are you for letting me spend some time with you here. I am SURE Easy was “with” us on this trip! I love you…………thank you for finding time to make MY day visiting all my friends so much fun.
Love and Hugs, Sammy
Sending you hugs today…Angel Easy was always a gracious host and I’m sure will be greeting his friends with Margaritas and introducing everyone to his brother. Lots of love to you all today…
That is a wonderful poignant memory that Angel Easy provided for dear Sammy! xx
We know Sammy had an awesome time in France. We are wrapping our paws and arms tightly around you both♥
The Ballon ride will show many blessings

Those are some might good pictures of Sammy having a wonderful time and what a great place to visit. Sending big hugs to you all.
What a wonderful visit- my heart is still heavy for you- sending hugs ❤ ❤
You are amazing. Easy would want you to carry on having fun. We are still in shock and we send you our love. Having lost Katie in June, we know the heartache, but when you don’t expect it as in Easy’s case, it is even more difficult. We cry for you.
Count me as one with a heavy heart.
I’m sure Sammy enjoyed the adventure. Our hearts are heavy today, too….But so nice of Sammy’s furriends to honor him today!
Love, Sundae
Sammy got some cool places to visit with you today. I am teary here. I know Easy will be there for Sammy on his last travels today. We all need to hold hands and hearts. Sending you hugs, you two have been in my heart.

Such a most wonderful tour. You have been in our thoughts non-stop, love and hugs dear friends.
So much sadness but we are glad Sammy is having a nice final tour.
Oh sweet angel Easy – Our hearts are totally broken this week with all of this sorrow. We wish we could really fly there with a snap of a finger to visit your staff and Sammy’s staff. We send our love and hugs. We are only a call or email away sweet dear friends. XOXO – Bacon
Dearest Easy and Staff…
What a beautiful sky you have there in the first photo. The park is absolutely a lovely place for Sammy. As a teenager we know how much he loved roaming about in the Virginia gardens. Oh and the yellow duckies if Sam has any yellow fevvers on his mouth when he gets here we’ll tell him.
MOL “a litter box with stairs”…Easy your humor and observation skills and words continue to make us smile in the face of all this sadness.
Thank you and your staff for pawticipating and most of all THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH GOOD AND MODEL CITIZENS OF BLOGVILLE..
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN…
WITH LOVE AND HUGS TO ALL
MADI AND CECILIA
He’s just teasing us, right?
I wish he would… sigh…

The Florida Furkids
Sammy must have had a pawsome time!
Oh no, yet another Pet-xit? I can’t bear it. You dear sweet fur angels. Be sure to show Sammy how to make snowfetti while we rain tears here. Love and miss you, Easy. ღ
We cannot think of a better host that Angel Easy Rider and his family to share a special day with Sammy. You gave him a wonderful and exciting visit. We bet Easy was first at the gate to welcome his good pal to a beautiful paradise. Many hugs and much love to you.
Woos – Lightning and Misty
Never drink tea from strange hedgehogs. Lovely tribute to Sammy…
You are the most selfless person I have ever known, that you would do something like this for someone when your own heart is so heavy with grief. But that’s what you do and that’s why I loved Easy like he was my own. His personality shone through your voice and I will miss him terribly, but not as much of you. I am so sorry about Sammy but what a lovely sendoff for him. Sandra
An AMAZING time you did show Sammy… Now you can both Run FREE AND FAST TOGETHER … YOU are a TREASURE.
Those scouts are pros alright. You will get the job done

What a fun time Sammy had there! If only they could have opened that park just for him! We were so pleased to see this post….we were afraid we might not hear from you again, as we know other blogs have dropped off when suffering such a loss as you have. Of course, I am not one bit surprised you did this for Sammy and Pam though, because that is how you are – so caring. xo
PS….We like to think of Sammy and Easy together at the bridge now, most likely eating bacon and digging holes. 🙂
