It’s wednesday, that means I have to borrow my blog to my mom that she can share her weirdness with the world:
.
THANKS FOR 7 WEIRD WEEKS, MENTAL MAMA!
.
Today:
Weirdest random fact about yourself (something you’ve done, something you like, somewhere you’ve been, etc.)
.
.My mom has a small notebook on her bed chest. Sometimes she wakes up at night and a BRILLIANT idea comes in her head. Because of the fact that she is old, she has to write it down immediately otherwise she would forget it till the next morning ( what would be not bad, if you ask me).
.
.She can’t turn on the light, that would wake up the dad (who cares?) and the silvermistygrey alarm system (me and that’s a no-go). So she writes in the darkness and therefore she can’t read the flashes of wit what came into her head.
That looks like this:
.
.
it means that she needs needles for the sewing machine…. who in the world dreams about sewing machines and needles and why the fact that she ruined all needles while replacing a simple zipper and has to buy new needles is so important that it deserves a place in her bad idea catalogue?… Weird…
.
.I currently have a weird habit too: I collect all shoes in the house and bring it to my bed. I do that the whole time and therefore I’m to busy to chew that stilt covers down. Note to myself: we need a second Weimaraner….
.
.Mom said the day she steps in poo and I will bring the shoes to my bed will be my doomsday…
.
Hell-o? It’s not MY fault when SHE steps in a dog pile…that’s good weird… just saying…
.
HAVE A FUNNY WEIRDNESDAY ALL
Our mom does the same thing with the note book – she dreamed the lotto numbers once and couldn’t remember the next morning – but since then the book stays by the bed 🙂
BOL funny Easy. Peeps should look where they are going and what they might be stepping in to and stop blaming us. Mine too has to right down things as she has the memory of the proverbial sieve. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
That isn’t the end of the 7 weeks of weird, is it? Guess if it is, it won’t make any different to your Mom’s posts Easy 😀
Gosh Easy – if you can read your Mom’s writing then you’re part Sherlock Holmes (or is that Sherlock Weim?!). I thought it was about noodles…hahaha…so you’re doing some shoe collecting lately? I suppose it’s a harmless hobby until you begin EATING those shoes – your 7 stomachs would not appreciate that!
Happy Weird Wednesday
Hugs, Sammy
This is still a little bit better than if the paper said “Doodles for Easy rocking”.
My mom has paper and pen next to the bed too. She also writes in the dark so she doesn’t forget, but then in the morning, half the time she can’t read what she wrote! Old moms are just weird, we can certainly agree on that point!
I used to keep a “dream book” I would writer down my dreams as soon as I would wake up to see if they meant anything. Too weird so I stopped 🙂
My bipeds can’t always read what they’ve written when there’s light! I hate to think what their efforts would like like in the dark!
I sometimes think your bed must be very lumpy and uncomfortable with all the things you take there, Easy!
HAHA! My MOM always says “Oh I wish I would have written that important thing down.” If she can’t remember it how does she know it was important. Then she says, “I should put a paper and pen next to the bed.” Butt she always for gets that. Hahhaha. Are also sleeping with the shoes? Looks like you were. Well that’s better than “Sleeping with the fishes.”
Blessings,
Goose
I don’t blame you for collecting shoes, Easy. If mom and dad would put them in the closet, you wouldn’t need to clean up after them!
Like your mom, I have a note pad by my bed. I don’t have many good ideas, so it just gets used as a coaster for my drink. …
Pray that she never writes “Make appointment to castrate Easy”
I use a technique that works better for, because even though I write the idea, when I wake up and read makes no sense. So I started to take voice notes with my phone, pure craziness!
the idea is great… but I’m afraid my dad would kill her when she starts to talk to her phone in the middle of the night lol Think she will not make such an appointment, at least NOT for ME… I’m a registered stud… :o)
Doggy is as lucky as you then!
hahaha so we both are safe… poor dad lol
EASY ,MY FAVORITE silvermistygrey alarm system
MY MOM MIGHT BE YOUR MOM’S LONG LOST SISTER. MOM NEEDS A PAD BY THE BED CAUSE CURRENTLY SHE GETS UP. RECENTLY SHE GOT UP WROTE ‘BUY CARD’…BUT BY THE TIME SHE READ IT SHE COULDN’T REMEMBER WHO THE CARD WAS FOR. MOL MOL MOL
HUGS MADI YOUR BFF
Collecting shoes sure isn’t weird Easy!
Oh if I touch momwithoutpaws shoes, she takes it , shakes it in my face and says “Mine” you should see her when I took her hamburger “I do not share!” I never that again the shoe or the hamburger
I used to have a notebook by my bed to but now I have my smart phone and I put it on there but when I turn it on there is a light but oh well. My dogs collect shoes too. Have a wonderful day bud.
Thanks for sharing your weirdness with us Easy…it makes me smile.
Snorts – I’ve been telling you brother that humans are weird! Mommy does the same thing with a twist. She can’t write in the dark – heck she can barely write with the light on – snorts. She keeps a little tape recorder next to her bedside so when inspirations of lightening strikes her, she tapes it. She also records her weird dreams. OMP (oh my pig!) Sometimes she has wicked dreams – watch out Steven King! XOXO – Bacon
P.S. As far as shoes in the bed… I wonder if mom would let me play with her red pumps in the bed? It looks like fun.
Actually I am wondering – do you like all shoes? or are you picky?
I am asking as Bunk is only interested in the right ones… I don’t have a clue why is that 😦
I like all, specially if they are new and not from the bargain bin… I have a nose for good shoes… hahahaha
you never know when you will need a pair of shoes! Good idea!
OURS mom needs to start doing that cos she writes her best stories late at night in hers head, then poof they are gone in the morning. That’s funny about you stealing the shoes….lol…stella rose
Easy, your mom’s wise woman. I also have a notebook like that, filled with similar chicken scratches. Makes life interesting sometimes trying to figure out what I wrote but it keeps my brain sharp. 🙂
janet
That writing looks like it was written in ancient Gaullic. I don’t know Gaullic so I couldn’t read it either. Yes, you need another weim. And make her gorgeous. I’m on your side on this one, Easy.
A real shoe in! Easy, you are just making it easier to get up in the morning – see, the shoes are already there. Happy Weirdnesday!
Those old ones do the strangest things

The shoes Easy..watch the seven stomachs. Your Mom has given me now a great idea for when I think of something for a blog post.. 😀
hahaha yes, we could have a collective quiz: who can decode what I wrote last night lol
Hey Easy, I think you should sneak over to that notebook in the night and write “More treats and toys for Easy”. She’ll never know the difference! 😉
Our Mummy keeps a notepad by her bed and writes things down. Last night it was; remember to buy some more hay for the piggies before the end of the month. So she dreams about hay. Anyway, like whee would have let her forget something as important as that!

I tried the notepad idea before, but I can barely read what I write when I’m fully awake, so it didn’t turn out so well when I was writing half asleep.
same here, but we could have a bloghop “decode my notepad” lol
Our mom writes on sticky notes at her work and then brings them home, Now there are like 87 sticky notes around the computer desk

Its almost as bad as our house! Love Dolly
OMD your Mom’s note looks like the one my dad wrote on the way home from having two teefs stolen… baaaaaWaaaah.
Now about these Midnight Inspirations… our mom USED to have those… and wrote the notes… butt now that she Be Tired of Teaching School Kidlets… she as QUIT that silly stuffs… and when she wakes up… she just CUDDLES US instead of trying to write such drivel.
As fur your mom stepping in Poops… all we can say is that she should have gotten up SOONER…
Lol I thought mummy’s note said something else completely!
Moms really are weird, Easy. Ours claims she gets some of her best ideas in the middle of the night. But then she does forget them in the A.M. Guess she needs one of those scribble pads for her scribblings:)

BOL! Thats great! We’re going to tell mom to put some paper and a pen next to her bed! We love that you hug her sneakers! Cute pic!!
Welcome to club weird and I think many of us do this. A second weimer? That’s a scary thought!
I forget stuff too, not just what I think of in the middle of the night, but also while I’m taking a shower. I bought a special waterproof notepad and pen so I won’t forget all the incredible ideas I get while in the shower.
Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
That isn’t too weird, just a little. I go this little nesting thing where I fluff everything up (rather extensively mom says) and then I lie down someplace else. Weird?

The best ideas come at bedtime. I keep my phone next to the bed and file my notes on it when brilliance strikes…or I think of something I need from the store! BOL!
Mosta my ideas in bed are bout nappin or snackin.
I thought it said Needes for Georg machine. Are you sure she read it right?
HaHa!!! I also dream of sewing needles! 🙂
Well, Easy that is a little bit odd I guess. I should really be doing that too, because I get all of these fabulous blog ideas while I’m trying to fall asleep and then the next day poof they are gone!
BOL do you think your folks could cope with another one of you??
naaah not really… think that would be too much lol
Huahahha I really like your last sentence!! i totally agree with you, it’s her fault to step on the poo not your fault to bring it to the bed
I think you look awfully comfy snuggled up to that shoe, Easy. Mom agrees about the poo smell, but I bet there are a lot of really interesting other ones there!
Yow yer Mum iz bery clever to rite fingz down; mine doez not n she iz heelareeuss da next mornin askin ME what she wanted to bememburr?? She tellz me in da middle of da nite n me iz apposta bememburr fer her…**shakez head**

Ahh but Easy, the important thing is what SHE knows what she means! And she clearly does… I too have a notebook by my bed… but I forget it’s there 😀 duh! Now THAT is weird!
Hugs, Carrie and Pups x
