BON CHEW &COWCOW

to a new epawsode of Angel Sammys and Teddys Pawetaton in pigtures….look what they found for this week

In da good old times the tv programm was great

and we watched tv from early to late.

there was lassie, the little rascals and the Brady bunch,

and we watched it all from breakfast to lunch.

The Waltons, the Ewings and Mr. Ed

they were with us till we went to bed.

Oh that was a time as tv was okay

and not such a sh*t as it is today.

So we stream only the things we want to see

or we make our own shows, ready for the tv.

HAVE A PAWETIC THURSDAY ALL

  1. Lots of memories in your poem – we remember all those shows too. I do think that the Weims could make their very own TV program – there’s never a dull moment there!!!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. I remember most of those programmes. Mr. Ed the talking horse was my favourite.

  3. We loved Mr Ed and the Waltons are still on here. Those were the days of great kid programs!

I watched it and could not stop laughing, watched it again so bob could see it, we are both laughing out loud and he said tell her you could send her one just like it from your compugter. Only Beau plops the drooling chops on the keyboard. he is right now staring at me saying did you forget breakfast?
i love the poem and agree with every word, bring back decent TV… we have 2 channels that run old shows, but bob doesn’t like them and he Controls The Remote

  6. We think that shutting the laptop is a great idea! We would like to do that too so we could get more interactive time with Mom. XOXO

I think we did watch the Waltons… but that’s about it from the list. The Virginian, Bonanza, Star Trek are the shows I recall from early years (and Star Trek still!!!) Loved your home show… hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx

  8. Ain’t that the truth?! I can’t remember the last time I watched a network TV show, on regular or cable tv! I canceled my cable tv service back in August, but I hadn’t even watched the news in ages before then. And I don’t miss it one bit! Give me Netflix, Prime, or my own DVDs any day or night!!

  9. I also remember and loved Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, and My Favorite Martian. I still try to walk through walls and doors; but like poor Aunt Clara, I usually end up with black and blue marks. 🤪 I wish I had some of Endora’s magic!

  10. That’s a great poem about television. We like how you tell your mom to stop playing on the computer and play with you instead. BOL!

  11. What a great poem about TV when it was good and fun to watch.
You touched on all the shows we liked too.
    Hugs Cecilia

  12. Lulu: “Yeah seems like the days when everybody was watching the same stuff at the same time are long, long gone. Except when the cats are both watching the same bird maybe.”
    Charlee: “Bird? Where???”

  13. Lavinia Ross says:

It’s when they start typing on the keyboard that you have to worry. 🙂

  14. Kismet says:

They never got rid of the ads.

  15. EWhen we did get a TV…when I was a teenager…we got to watch the reruns of those same shows. TV was fun then. You are right about the wasteland it is today.
