BON CHEW &COWCOW

to a new epawsode of Angel Sammys and Teddys Pawetaton in pigtures….look what they found for this week

aaah those were the days…

in good old times

life was full of fun and there were less crimes.

cars could drive to nearly all places

and without speed limit we had  good races.

people could eat whatever they want

and were not forced to live only from a plant.

we could name the things like they really were

and had not to describe them, no one was woke nor queer.

we respected each other as humans and friends

and not because someone said when and how much we have to shake hands.

life was easier and more a life worth to live

than today where it becomes something combative.

At least we are the  lucky ones to be the  olds and the  grays

because  we are those who saw the really good days.

yeah that were the days in the land of milk and honey…

naaah… the days of cheese…

HAVE A PAWETIC THURSDAY ALL

  1. Oh your poem is great, and yes, we with the greys and achey joints are the blessed ones to have been in those days of yore when life was simple, fun and good!
Though back then we would not have met all our fantastic Blogville friends…

  2. And we used to have fun playing on things like that roundabout!! Wheeeee!

  3. WOWZERS boys – this poem is full of TRUTH…..the good old days are gone I’m afraid – the “new days” are just a little bit scary. But there’s always CHEESE right????????????? Thanks for playing poetry with us.

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom too

  4. Charles Huss says:

Those were the days when the school playground wasn’t locked down after school because of the lawyers.

  5. They truly were the good ole days and mom wouldn’t trade them for anything!

  6. Those were simpler times. But not the good old days for people of color or for the Jewish…

    • you are right, people did horrible things to other people…, … but the times what came after this horror were the good ones… we started to build a future together, no matter what religion, color or age or oientation, not because we had to but we wanted to…

  7. It was the good old days… you bring back so many memories of things that are missed. Great words for the poem and picture!

  8. EXCELLENT poem!!!!! We totally agree.

It is interesting how each generation, as it ages, looks back and thinks its younger years were easier and better… when in fact, every generation has its challenges. Still… a bit of nostalgia never did anyone any harm; unless it’s made political, of course…

Sorry, slightly serious response to the serious topic found within your really rather fine pawem! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  12. We enjoyed your poem but without the modern internet we never would have met you two and your parents. It’s fun to look back and our mom remembers playing on those things in the playground that have all disappeared because of their dangers.

  16. Hee! Hee! Terrific poem! And CHEESE!!!! We all love cheese! We all get cheese every morning. Mom has to give Kozmo his daily meds and discovered that a nice cheddar was the way to do it. Now we ALL get cheese! Mom has to spell the word if she does not want us mobbing her if she says it out loud. Keep being awesome! Purrs Marvelous Marv

  17. Oh yeah. That is the perfect description of the good old days, according to Mom. My good days are the good NEW days doing life right in my forever home.
