we hope you had a good start into da new year and this 2023 was good with ya by now.
our start was a little rough… the laptop died and as da dad went to da repair guy he had even TWO embarrassing moments … one for the rude password and one because there was food for a whole army inside… crumbs and crumblings efurrywhere. Sadly that was not all, the repair guy also found burnt points inside, although the mama has not even a hot-mail address… but whatever… against all odds hopes, there was THIS moment….

for those in peril on da seaaaaaa…..
so. that was that. we bought a new laptop, but it is january, the month you have more bills than fleas behind your ears… so we hope even a cheap thingy can do the trick and we hope you can bear that week with us, till we are fully back a board with a new writing machine and hopefully with all our datas what the repair guy will rescue for us…
apart from that , we had a good time with or grandpawrents who drove home last furryday… we think we showed them our best side and the succession is cleared and for our benefit…

I am so very very sorry to hear that your computer died computer was and you were right I love your new wordfun-eral and it sounds like that is what you had. We really missed you guys you look wonderful and I’m glad you got to spend time with your grandparents. Still giggling about the password and the crumbs inside and now I’m wondering how they got in there

Oh heck! A dead laptop is not a very good “Happy New Year” start is it! Well, hopefully things will work out and you won’t have lost anything. We know you had a fun time with the Grandparents there – you always do as they bring you a HUGE pile of new toys when they come!

Well, that gave me deja vu, cos that is what happened to me this time last year when Voovoo the Vaio decided to stop talking to the intermutts – you may recall. That is when the OctoKan came to stay at the Hutch; very cheap, small – yet doing [almost] everything I demand of it. A dead computer is no fun. We hope the repair guy is able to transfer all your data. We wouldn’t want any of your precious memories gone forever.
Happy New Year to you all and good luck with the new computer. Even after several months I’m still trying to get used to the replacement with mixed results. Doggone technology. Your discovery of crumbs reminds me to stop eating around this vexing machine so thanks for that. Guess this proves multitasking isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Happy Monday!

January is a horrible month to have to replace your laptop but we’re glad you’re back, boys!
