BON CHEW & COWCOW

look what we saw as we drove to Plemet, to da super u supermarket…. twas a Weimaraner! He wandered along da town and he had no collar nor was a twolegged person with him. Sadly the staff could not get him to bring him home…

he  walked away as they left the car. Maybe he was scared because we made such a fuzz in the car as we saw him? It was a boy, so to bring out one of us was no option either…. fortunately people later said he lives in this area and is back at home… pheeew……

and then the mama found the next one on the street. it’s a labrador and it belongs to a small bar in our village.  they don’t care like they should be, so he often is on patrol alone… not good… it is dangerous to wander around when it is dark outside… and specially for a black pup.

after a long belly rub and petting session the mama brought him home….

and we smelled the intruder and we told her what we think about cheating!

It just breaks my heart when I see a dog that is free like that and in danger. I’m so glad that he found his way back home and that you found out so you could tell us and that precious black pup looks just like my big boy. I do hope he will be okay. What is it with men and aqua the man who will not repaint my shutters that from that horrid pink that they are does not want aqua

  2. A relief that they both had homes but not a life for a pup 😦

  3. Glad the Weim-guy had a home…..but the lab belonging to a bar is no life – and life on the street is scary for any creature human or animal. Nice that your Mom brought him home for a bit – I bet he loved that!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Your Mama is a good person, Boyz! Someone needs to care about all those dogs! In addition to caring about you!

    Woofs,
    Ollie

It is amazing that some people still let their dogs wander the streets. Day or night it is dangerous because of cars and things but they can also be stolen easily. Glad the pups are back home where they belong.

  6. Charles Huss says:

It is okay for dogs to be out alone if they live on a farm but the streets are too dangerous.

You are just like Disa. I often cheat on her with the two dogs that run around here without a human. Youpie and Missy. Youpie is an older mixture of I don’t know, maybe there once was a braque among the ancestors. And he is so lovely and likes to eat treats. He’s a “chien de fugue”. And he thinks he lives with everybody. Missy is a girl, and she only wants to play. She thinks she belongs to the neighbour of her owners and roams the street with Youpie. Disa hates them. Missy got hit by a car once. And her behaviour is really dangerous (for herself).

Two’s company, three’s a crowd, is that what you told her? But Weimz – you also have to allow for a sense of charity and goodwill. Jus’ sayin’… hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  9. Mama is a good person.

  10. Gosh Twinies I really do not like seeing a pup or a kitty wandering the streets. I hope the pups have a guardian angel sitting on their shoulders

  11. Your mama is a good peep!

  12. I am glad the weim is back home. It is a shame that the labrador isn’t cared for as he should be. It must be a thing about pubs/bars. One of the pubs in the village has an old dog which is left wander where she wants. Very often she goes to sleep in the middle of the road and people have to stop and move her. The pub owner doesn’t care and says she can look after herself during the day.

  13. Glad the first dog is home and good for your mom for taking care of them both!

  14. Java Bean: “We saw a weimaraner at the park not too long ago! He was with a person, though. Rumor has it that will be appearing as a Wordless Wednesday at some point.”
Lulu: “That’s some top notch rolling over for belly rub technique that other dog had! Don’t blame the mom, it’s impossible to resist that move. It’s why we belly-rub-loving dogs do it!”

  15. Why is it you can never trust the Mamas when they leave the house alone! They are always finding other puppies to pet!!!

    Sunny

  16. Mamas can be fickle with dog affection sometimes but our’s tells us it’s because she cares. Yeah, right. Let’s hope both pooches stay safe with their absent owners.

I had a black lab, my daughter chelsea. I can’t imagine her with her good heart would like to roam around not belonging with a person and cared for. You two have good hearts to try to help

  18. It’s good that your mom was looking out for those wayward pups and trying to make sure they made their way home.

You boys might need a couple more beds if the trend continues!

I am glad you always have a parent with you when you are out in the wid

  23. All alone is scary even for a pup..and it makes me feel bad to see that. Glad your kind Mama helped as much as she could.

  24. Glad your momma has a good eye for the lost ones, even if they have a home. Oh, and we know exactly how you feel about the smell of another doggie…we have a new introoder in the garden🙈Double Pawkisses🐾😽💞

  25. Your Peeps are wonderful! Our Peep brought home a dog that she (and Cinnamon) found running around on the highway. Cinnamon says she was a little disgruntled that a strange dog was having a ride but it was much safer than the highway. The little guy (he was a yorkie) had his name and phone number on his collar and his Mama came and got him. Us cats don’t usually visit with strange dogs but this guy was the same size as us and we thought him quite interesting. Purrs Marv

I don’t understand how people just let their dogs wander like that!! It makes me so angry! Bless you for helping that pup!
