Oooh those mushroom are all super interesting. We too still have loads of fungi in our forests – we even saw some tasty fresh-looking chanterelles on a walk last week. This very unusually mild weather is having all sorts of strange effects.
    Toodle-oo!
    Nobby.

  2. Interesting mushrooms…..we think the ones you thought were weird look like melted marshmallows…!!

    Hugs, Teddy

What a fabulous collection of fungi! … though I might query your ‘rose bush’ and call it instead a Callistemon (Bottle Brush)… but no less the lovely for it! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. Love all of the mushrooms – especially the red one!

  5. My GBGV Life says:

We like to see mushrooms because they can be so interesting, but Mom is not a mushroom fan. The flowers are very pretty! Here they would be dead now.

  6. Charles Huss says:

The first one looks like the home of the Smurfs.

  7. Enjoyed this mushroom post! They seem to have tiny personalities. They are quriky! Lovely rose gift for Rosy!

  8. stanzebla says:

Luck on the shoe must be better than poo on the shoe. I envy your mum that she got 2 flowers for 1€. Incredible. I was at the LIDL yesterday and they had nothing like that.

  9. BOL BOL I always imagine a teeny tiny family of critters living under mushrooms.
Does Goose poo count: if you see poo good luck comes to you and sticks on your shoe….
    Hugs Cecilia

we have some but not this many different types here. I like the little red one best and agree that the white ones look like melted marshamallows. Rosy bush is beautiful and Wow on the two for one. I saw Minds goose poo comment which made me think of duck poo of which we have tons of it, you two would roll your selves silly if you saw it

  11. Those mushrooms (or are they toadstools?) are all as different as us dogs. And without an expert telling us if they will poison us, we think it’s better to poop on them than to eat them! XOX Xena Lucy Chia and Riley

  12. That first mushroom is so pretty! We bet there are gnomes or smurfs living under it.

  13. That first mushroom is so pretty it almost looks fake! That last mushroom photo, well… haha.

  14. Lulu: “I think our smurf friend lives in that first mushroom!”
Charlee: “Calling the smurf a ‘friend’ may be overstating things a little …”
Chaplin: “Our Dada says that one is a ‘Fly Agaric’ mushroom. He knows this because he plays a video game where that mushroom grows all over the place.”
    Java Bean: “Sounds muy educational.”

  15. My goodness, you have quite the variety of ‘shrooms. If we have a choice, we’d take a little luck without the poo. But congrats on scoring a great bargain!

  16. We LOVE the ‘shroom photos! Did you know that eating mushrooms in the morning is the breakfast of champignons? And we have heard that mushrooms like growing in poo. You guys (and your Peeps) are totally AWESOME! Purrs Marv

  17. lapaylor says:

  24. Brian says:

You sure hunted up a lot of interesting looking ones boys!

  25. Lots of different kinds of mushrooms! And the ones with a dropping on them…tee-hee!
I once found a four leaf clover, but, well, it stayed where it was cause there was a doggy offering on top of it! BOL!

  26. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

That is a lovely selection of mushrooms. I like field mushrooms on toast but I would be afraid to pick any others. The red and white one is pretty, but I think it might be red for danger! Those mums were a very good bargain.

  27. Lee and Phod says:

    Dear pals,
We really need to get on digging our tunnel because Lady really needs a piece of your Lady’s cake. She loves that she writes Fuck on it. This we think is Lady’s favourite word. We love all the toadstools and also think you must have fairies around.
