BON CHEW & COWCOW,

today we think we honor a hero pup, who saved da whole furmily …

apaws apaws for da phenny!!!! he is very modest and never brags with his heroic actions, so we tell ya what happened in good and simple words…

it was da night where the pressure inside of the boiler became too much and that pressure pushed the lid off and  water, as hot as hell came out like da river styx what flows to eternal perdition…

it was everywhere in da annex and there was no way to stop it, because what you take from da boiler comes back immediately through da pipes… and all that happened around 2am!

… the time, da phenny said: i have to pee! lemme outta here!!.. and the lazy mama stumbled down with da pup and there she saw the great deluge…

… she called da dad and after they paddled and waddled through the water for 87 hours one of them had da glorious idea to disconnect da main valve, so the water inflow  stops and you can start to drain da pond… they needed the whole night and then the run for a new boiler started. Like you know in this time politicians want to be independent from China and that means the stores are as empty as our pockets…. it was an odyssey to get a new one and then we had to find a plumber who can do da job, because august is the month where all people go on a howliday…. and with all the bribe money and the overpriced items  you end as poor as a church mouse when you start a construction project this time…

…. fortunately we have our water back now , butt in the bowl and not on the floor and the staff can swing their butts in da bathtub again… we wonder a little why humans have to take baths so often, butt probably that’s because they are no dogs… we thnk we better stay o our sofa furever, just because the floor starts to get wet again….

HAVE A MARVELOUS MO(A)NDAY ALL

Dear Team this is really disaster in the home. We had too in the past, I know what means. I am glad you are all fine. House(s) needs always repairs and check… and never ends all their problems. I hope and wish you all to take a rest, Thank you, Love, nia

  2. That sure was a wet and rude awakening to get out of be and wade right into the floor! Hope nothing was damaged.
That was a lot worse than when petcretary picked up her purse and wondered why the bottom felt so hot??? Um…her travel coffee mug was in there and she forgot to shut the lid….Oops!

    Have a drier week!

Hey, maybe the water heater was trying to water the drought stricken land?!

  3. You poor things, in more ways than one 😦

  4. Oh no, what a disaster! I am glad everything is fixed now.

  5. WFT Nobby says:

Oh my goodness, this is a sorry tale indeed, despite Phenny’s heroic night-time desire to pee.
Paws and fingers crossed that all is sorted out and stays sorted out and there are some €€€ left over for treats for heroic Weims (and Nelly).
    Toodle-oo!
    Nobby.

  6. Well if da Phenny hadn’t needed to visit the outside toilet there might have been a big Hot Tub in the whole of the downstairs! Sounds like a bit of a nightmare but thanks to da Phenny it was discovered and eventually a new boiler came to your house so no more surprise floods – we hope.

    Hugs, Teddy

da phenny it is a good thing that you woke the silly humans up for an outside break. That sounds like a very trying adventure for the humans, but it sounds as if even with all the trials and tribulations they got it fixed in good time so you were not inconvenienced too much and had water in your water bowls.

  8. My GBGV Life says:

What a big mess and that stuff always has to happen in the middle of the night. Glad you were able to get it fixed and hope there wasn’t too much damage.

  9. MadSnapper says:

You deserve an extra walk and a few treats, maybe even ice cream for waking da pawrentz in the middle of the night. who knew we would ever say this. I feel your pain on the dent in the bank account. when ours went 3 years ago, it was 500.00 and i shudder to think what it would be now. I hope you did not lose to much that was on the floor, like Dog Food and TREATS

  10. Oh no – that is an awful thing to have happen! It’s going to take forever to dry out the rugs.

  11. Da Phenny, you look traumatized. Were you worried that da Mama might think you peed in the house so it flooded everywhere? We know you are a mighty dog! Actually, you saved the day! (night?) And our Mom says whose bright idea was it to let everyone in France go on vacation at the same time?! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley

  12. Hari OM
Well, Pheonix, dear dog, it seems that the pawrents have overlooked the obvious here (despite still naming you the hero of the piece), and that is that you knew all along there was something wrong, so devised a way to get them to pay attention!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  13. Hope you didn’t lose stuff! Treats all around for the humans and weims!

  14. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Phenny 87 cheers for your heroism in the midst of the great flood and all kinds of thanks that you once again have water flowing in the proper places.

Once years ago while the neighbor 2 doors down from us was on vacation. We all started noticing their windows were fogging up. But had not clue why or where they went. Finally a it was discovered a neighbor farther down the cul de sac had a key. Lo and behold a water pipe burst under the kitchen sink they.
It ran and ran until it ran so much it starting coming up from under the doors. The theme song was Cry me a River.
    Hugs Cecilia

  15. Way to go Phenny! If it weren’t for your bladder there might have been two feet of water on the floor by the time your staff noticed the problem. We’re glad to hear everything is back to normal now…at least for a while. BOL!
