today we tell you the story of the Tupperware mixmax  shaker .. the mama found it back in a box where it slept for years  and during a moment of mental confusion she put it back into the kitchen cabinet. Exactly da same time our dad wanted red berry pudding with vanilla sauce and the devil on the shoulder of the mama suggested to try the fab Tupperware sh*tmax thingy. She filled the milk in the thingy added the vanilla sauce mix and shaked it around like a dog an ole sock would shake…. Sadly the lid was not closed properly….and we can tell you, that our kitchen looked fantabulous! The mama had not even swear words to scream, she only could whisper them with shock… what a horrabad adventure… it seems vanillasauce is the same like confetti… even after days, weeks, months and years you find the traces of your epic fail…

… the pitiful rest what was in the lid and in the shaker went to the dogs and we can say tat it was not much but quite tasty…

..and if she asks us, we can do it sure again….

…da phenny, da phenny….. I would like to go to such a tupperware evening with trying the newest inventions by Earl Silas Tupper, I bet that are very funny events…

…yeah dude… as long as you are not the host and as long as it is not your kitchen, such evenings have a lot of potential….

  1. OMD!! What a mess indeed…at least it was a yummy mess, and you helped to clean it all up??

  2. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Oh no, what a disaster! I think we all have various miraculous Tupperware gadgets tucked away in the back of cupboards.

  3. Uhoh…..sounds like you had an early winter snow in your kitchen when that shaker shook things up! I’m sure you boys did all you could to help Mom clean up the mess by searching for drops of vanilla on counters and floor???????

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. MadSnapper says:

thanks for the smiles today, and might I suggest, next time take it outside to shake it and you can then lick up all that mess and get more sauce. liquid confetti is something I hope never to see. you too are models of modesty! plus adorable and funny

  5. WFT Nobby says:

Gail is thinking it could have been worse. It could have been red berry sauce…
Nobby is thinking you guys are showing off in those last two pictures…

  6. My GBGV Life says:

We have the very same Tupperware mixer in our cupboard. Mom got it decades ago when she went to a Tupperware party in Germany. She used to use is a lot. It works pretty well for her actually.

  7. Oh Dear! That sounds very… colourful?

Oh… Tupperware – you threw me back to childhood and my mum hosting such parties and thinking what hard work it was… but that we still have some of that bowls from 50 years ago! No shaker stuff though. Seems like a good idea. As long as you have the skills to operate the machinery!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  9. That is certainly a plus for the two of you but sadly, not for the peeps.

  10. Lee and Phod says:

The kitchen is not a safe place for your Lady. Perhaps the shaker needs to go in the donate pile.

  11. Hopefully the two weims helped clean up that tasty treat. Tupperware fails are epic.

  12. So, did the mama not seal the lid, or was the T-ware defective? We would have liked to have been there to help clean up! XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

  13. I have a very similar tupperware shaker. Even with a tight fit it makes a mess so I mostly use it over the sink to mix corn starch, soy sauce etc for a stir fry
    Hugs Cecilia

  14. That had to be a mess. A pretty mess, but still a mess.

  15. We are with Nobby….thank goodness it wasn’t the red berry sauce!!
    Sunny and Rosy

  16. Bwahahaha…sorry I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. We’ve done that same thing with colorful berry sauces and now only use those shaker thingies inside a ziplock bag to keep from having to use a firehose to clean the unintended kitchen re-decoration.

  17. Oh blerg. The lid is an important component of all mixmaxers. No lid, no sauce.

    Love and licks,

  18. I made a similar mistake once but luckily it was the lid for the pouring spout that was not closed properly. And I was shaking it over the sink, holding it upside down so the flour/water mix just ended a little in the sink. Phew!

  19. The OP Pack says:

But doesn’t that shake catastrophe mean there were lots of places for you two to find good licking:)?

  20. Guud reef what a deesastur! Tuppieware iss apposta to bee THE best…

  21. That Tupperware adventure might have ended in disaster for your mom, but you boys sure benefitted from it. BOL!

  22. Brian says:

I have no doubt that the clean up pups had a big old time with that one!

  23. After being a fan for so long I saw that one coming.

  24. We know better than to shake those shaker thingies because it always goes rogue and explodes everywhere all over!

  25. Ha Ha-now remember why our thingy just like that is sleeping waaaay in the back of the pantry (far from the hands of He-who-would-help.
“Like confetti – astute observation…much to the sadness of paws who will be happy to lick up mess on walls or floors.

  26. Lulu: “Cleanup in aisle six!”
