butt we better jump up now to find some nature for ya … even in that heat…
look da sweet chestnuts start to grow…. maybe they like this hot days and will become melon sized this year?
and there is a nice variation of hydrangeas who like this heat not so much…..
and last but not least a small pink rose for Rosy…. have a funny furryday and a

Gail has warned me that sweet chestnuts can be prickly on the paws when they fall to the ground in autumn. Even when they are not melon sized!

It has been too hot here also but cooled down a bit the last two days. It is forecast to get hotter again later next week. I hope not as hot though! The flowers are pretty.

Love the pink petite rose for Rosy! Sorry you are dealing with the heat there. It’s hot here but we are used to it… unfortunately… and we have AC. Fall and winter does not even spare us from the heat of H E double L! Stay cool!

Mom grew up next to a yard with a horse chestnut tree, but she said you can’t eat those. Do you eat the sweet chestnuts? Are they good? Mom also remembers when there was a chestnut tree blight, and people couldn’t get chestnuts to eat any more.(Yep, she’s really old, BOL!) XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
they are super good… we roast them over an open fire.. the smell is from deepest hell and you look dirty after you ate them, but it is worth the effort :O)))
Mom and Dad once bought a French cheese and put it in the trunk on their trip home. The car started stinking so bad they couldn’t stand it. So they tasted the cheese and it was the best they’ve ever had!
