I hope Hell-Mutt enjoyed the fruits of the mama’s labour!

  2. WFT Nobby says:

Well that is one strawberry more than we have, although we do have a bumper crop of gooseberries on the prickly bush.

  3. Well…….let’s just say that for Hel-Mut one big strawberry is a FEAST but for all of you – it’s definitely not time to celebrate the harvest with a BIG strawberry dessert!

    Hugs, Teddy

Crikey – a touch of the loaves and fishes about that strawberry. The foal looks very handsome and the rose – well – always fine! Hugs and wgs, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Now you have made us hungry for strawberries! We have white roses on our blog today too 🙂

  6. My GBGV Life says:

That strawberry will have to go on top of a super dessert for one special person…maybe your mom?

  7. Charles Huss says:

It’s not the quantity, it’s the quality. That’s what I tell myself when I try to grow something.

  8. The mama horse must have taught her baby to kick real hard, BOL! Your Mama’s strawberry plant looks like most of the plants our Mom tries to grow. Have a great weekend, boys! XOX Xena, Lucy and Riley and Chia

  9. MadSnapper says:

yes, we have no strawberries growing, but I the Big Beau get one every day when da Mama makes her strawberry/watermelon slushy. I love frozen fruit. I get one small berry OR one small frozen watermelon. I had a picture in my mind of dividing the one berry for the two of you until I read hel-mut got the whole berry.. that baby horse is not much bigger that the two of you.

  10. MOL BOL LOL a fine strawberry crop for sure. Probably much better than one that might be planted here. YEARS ago we had a strawberry crop…however overnight it was devoured by some unwelcomed visitors.
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. That wasn’t much of a haul from the strawberry patch this year. We hope Helmut enjoyed it. What a cute little pony. We’re glad the mom didn’t get in the way so we could see his beautiful color.

  12. I am so happy Hell-mut got that strawberry. That was a typical harvest for our strawberry crop on The Tiny Ten! The squirrels always beat us to the strawberries. The foal is darling… pretty big! AND your rose for Rosy is gorgeous! I love seeing the rose for Rosy every Friday!

  13. lapaylor says:

your harvest reminds me of ours in Colorado… painfully meager if any at all

  14. What a lucky turtle that Helmut is…Sunny would have stolen that berry for herself!!
Thanks so much for my beautiful Rosy Rose Boyz…I sure hope you get to play with the horses and foul!
    Rosy, Jakey & Sunny

  15. Helmut got a prize…yay! Our single beautiful strawberry was stolen by an evil tree rat. Argh. Have a wagnificent weekend.

  16. Helmut is a lucky turtle to have a home-grown organic strawberry all for himself. Yum.

    Love and licks,

  17. Whoa! What are you going to do with all that…strawberry? Don’t eat it all at once!

  18. HURRAH fore Hellmut! Hee deeservess a fresh strawberry fore sure! Yore both so nice to treet him.

Strawberry Fields Forever, at least for Hellmut! That little pony is sure a cute one boys!

  20. There is nothing more beautiful than roses and horses

  21. What a wonderful baby horse!
We have not seen any foals or fillies, but we have seen big horses being ridden on our street…guess what? We talked to them, so much that petcretary said we needed to stop…party pooper that she can be. LOL!

Helmut sure got to enjoy a tasty treat!

We have a lot of wild strawberries here, but they are tiny and have more seeds than flash.

Right now our mulberries are plentiful! Birds love them and petcretary just grabs a handful when she’s near it…soon they’ll be gone and we’ll have to wait till next year! Dalton likes them too…Benji disdains them, BOL!

  22. Jan K says:

We’ve had some harvests like that too. We have several blueberry bushes, but the most I get is a few to throw on my cereal in the morning, and I always have to save one or two for the pups as well! So you need at least three I’d say. 🙂

  23. Lee and Phod says:

We hope you really barked at the horses.
