BON CHEW & COWCOW,

there we are and it is THAT time again…

tick-time. the species what is good for nothing  apart from bringing trouble and sorrows to peeps and pets….

and faster than we could say NO! we got our tick&flea collars…

….once many moons ago  brittany was a tick-free area… but sadly things changed and not always to the best…. so we first lost our subtropical climate, then the ford to the UK, where you could walk with some good wellies through the water from Cherbourg to Brighton and now we have this useless sh*t ticks too…. We think that all happened because Queen Anne sold us to France…

we don’t like changes, bring back da good ole times!!!!

HAVE A MAGIC MO(A)NDAY ALL

We like the idea of bringing back the land bridge to France!

  3. Hari Om
Yup, the price of international connection is the international infestations… ticks, mozzies, beetles, wasps… sigh…and that happens even without land bridges! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. Ticks are disgusting things that don’t have anything better to do than live off US! Now that’s not fair right guys?

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Yuk, I hate ticks! Flynn was so good to have anything done but once he got one right beside his butt hole. He screamed blue murder when I removed it. Thank goodness it was the only one.

  6. We hate ticks and we wish they never existed!

  7. My GBGV Life says:

Tick free would be so nice. The world is constantly changing and not always the way we would like it, but we have to do the best with what we have.

  8. MadSnapper says:

ticks are really scary because of the Lymes disease. we have so many fleas/ticks and other bugs here, we give our dogs 1 pill a month to ward them all off.. it is expensive and 1 pill a month called Heart gurad because heart worms are killers here, from so many mosquitoes. one dog, 2 pills a month, 240.00 dollars… every 6 months. stay safe and let your pawrentz check you out. leave those collars on, they are important.
I just checked Brittany on wiki and read about half, did not know about where you are or that it was once Little Britain .. I see on FB lots of comments I can’t read, that look like german, so what is the official language … waiting to see a post of wheter you speak Wiem French which is what I assumed

  10. We don’t like ticks either.

  11. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no Nelly and Phenny. I sure do know what you mean about the climate. It seems all the creepy crawlie critters love our climate too. We have a time with flea control this time of year. Good news is your furs are short.
Now for the impawtant question: Did the staff get flea/tick collars too?
    Hugs cecili

  16. Ticks are way more than just a nuisance…we have more than one variety here…sheesh. There was even a tick on one of our kitties once…an inside one mind you…he came in on the dog, (MJF), and then cause dog had anti tick stuff, he crawled to better fare…and said kitty started to show Lyme symptoms:(

You pups made me giggle…not about the tick, mind you, but about all the other woofs you had…I didn’t know that there used to be a land connection! Wow!

  17. Brian says:
