BON CHEW & COWCOW

the change in our crib is not only that we lived like in a land before time, there was another  huge change … the humans stopped smoking, after they burnt moneeh since more than 87  years or more …

the timing was awful like always but with having stress and no internet , you can do nothing than to eat….

…best for such moment is e(a)t-on mess…

or just a strawberry ….

or this tasty southern style  chicken fillets by Linda, what is absolutely fantabulous..

to burn the calories instead of cigarettes the mama worked in da garden and we think it is now a real mardi grass …. butt nevertheless the nerves were raw during this time without internet and without cigarettes…

HAVE A TASTY TUESDAY ALL

  1. Bravo!
Stopping to smoke in cold turkey fashion is difficult, but it can be done with lots of will power…and you are a team at it so that helps too. Yup, lots of ways to relieve stress…

We bet that Da Phenny and Da Nelly are the best stress relievers!!

  2. WOW! That’s a wonderful thing to say bye bye to – my Mom quit in 1983 – first thing she did was launder everything “washable” in the house – it all began smelling like cigarettes (which she never noticed when she smoked!). I’m glad for your Mom and Dad – perhaps it means more ice cream will be available for all of you??????

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. WOW! No internet and NO CIGS? We salute your resolve.

  4. Hari OM
Crikey, talk about a double whammy… to come through last week and still be sticking to the resolution of non-smoking, though, deserves applause!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Giving up smoking cannot be easy but we know that you boys will help them out any way that you can. More ice cream and yummy foodables is a great thing!

  6. My GBGV Life says:

No smoking is a very good thing no matter how difficult it is. We hope your parents can stick with it and not smoke again.

  7. Congrats on the no smoking! That is tough. I have never smoked but my Mom wrestled with it for years. All I think about is eating!

  8. MadSnapper says:

I know about giving up addiction, but mine was sugar. the first 21 days I nearly lost my mind and if I had not had the internet might have not made it. wild clapping and a standing ovation for your pawrentz for doing both at the same time, woo hoo on all the work that got done. I do know if I take a day off from the computer lots of stuff is done… I am still really impressed with the shoes in the closet

  9. We heard our Grandma gave up smoking after about 60 years of it. Her doctor said you can smoke or you can live. She picked living. She said she craved them every day but never smoked again. We all wish you both such resolve so you live, live, live! (Happily ever after!!) XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

  10. Standing ovation to the Staff no more smoking. I know it was super duper hard to do.
Extra $$$$ for dog treats now!! Helmut that is one gorgeous strawberry
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. Oh no! Really bad timing. Hope there was a visit to the trashures store just for therapy. People get really testy when they stop smoking.

  16. Bravissimo!! I am sooo very proud of the staff for giving up the smoking!!! I bet with your help, boys, they will both be feeling much better soon!! Zen’s daddy gave up smoking many years ago and our house smells so much better now! (Except after puppy potty accidents.)

  17. WAHOO!! Quitting smoking is huge, our Mama did it tho, and if she did it we bet your folks can too!!

  23. Good luck with staying away from the ciggies! That is always a good thing for both physical and financial health….

  24. Congrats to your pawrents for stopping (even if the timing was probably not great). We wish her full success. Think of all that money she can spend on new winter boots 😉

  25. Lulu: “Congratulations to your mom and dad! 87 years is sure a long time to have been burning money and then stop!”
