BON CHEW & COWCOW

to  Nature Furryday

hosted by da LLB-Crew,

this furryday gives us a cold greeting from the gaz station… now diesel is the luxury stuff after it was the cheap magic potion for the cars. isn’t that more than weird?

butt whatever, we enjoyed the blue flowers on this fallow ground, but soon the heavy machines will come to turn it into farm land to be prepared for the things what may come…. people have to eat and they need fuel and fortunately our farmers are free spirits and look at the reality and not to brussels.

and we found this cute flowers on our way through our kraal… even in bad times there are still beautiful things…

and no matter how hard the times are, the main thing is that everything is ok at the back…

and with this lily of the valley bouquet for Rosy we wish you a funny furryday and a

GOOD WEEKEND

  1. It is the same here. Diesel used to be cheaper than petrol but now it is on average 20p a litre more than petrol and not far off £2 a litre. All the flowers are pretty. The lilies of the valley are lovely. They remind me of my childhood when we had a bed full of them outside the front door.

You have found beauty despite all the horrid things going on and for that at least we are grateful.

  4. Lily of the Valley is one of our favorites and mom can’t wait to bury her nose in a pretty bouquet of it!

  5. You boys do a good job of keeping an eye (and nose) on each other. Love the lily of the valley – a favorite of my Mom’s.

mother loved lily of the valley. you have all that green grass with sun puddles, which is a great thing to have. there is always good even during bad.. I think we just NOTICE the bad more… today you did good with focus on the good. last week I needed 10 gallons and it cost me 44 dollars. 4.19 per gallon, not sure how that compares to yours but with the gas hogs we drive here, its a lot. the deisel was way more than that

  8. Mom loves Lily of the Valley. They don’t grow here in Florida.

  9. Morning Twinies and staff.
We don’t use diesel but we see the prices are sky high when we buy unleaded.
I like the road side posies and the lily of the valley for Rosy
    Hugs and happy weekend

  10. What a precious bouquet. We’re so sorry your petrol prices are ‘gastronomical.’ You pay more per liter than we pay per gallon. It’s just crazy. We hope you have a wonderful weekend-it’s Mother’s Day in the states and hopefully we’ll celebrate with 2 and 4 legged kids.

  11. Good words to remember for these days. Lovely Lily of the Valley for Rosy!
    Enjoy your weekend!

  12. Gas prices are up here too. You sure found lots of pretty flowers around your house this week.

  13. I love that – even in bad times there are still beautiful things. So true! Happy Friday, friends.

  20. It looks so much summer there. Gasoline is here high up, 2.30€/ a litre.

  21. Here Diesel is at just over 5$ US./gallon..but the gasoline is right now about 4.39$ US/gallon…sheesh…I was talking with my sister from Canada, and in her area the price of gasoline is about 1.65 a liter…which we figured to be almost 8$/US…Yikes!

My rental car, (My van is still at the body shop…Grrr…), is an electric car, so at least I wasn’t having to fill it up…just wait til my van is back…oh oh!

  22. Lulu: “What kind of diesel is that? Is it Vin Diesel? If it’s Vin Diesel, that might explain why it costs so much, he’s a big star now …”

  23. rottwlrmom says:
