look we had a visitor… that’s not a cactus or a tumbleweed… that is a hedgehog. it was in our back yard at night, and da nelly cornered that guy …. da dad came running and screamed for gloves, da phenny jumped out of the bed to help and the mama came with ONE glove what was even the left one and a simple fabric thingy, not usefull to grab into 87 needles with it. so da furst try failed and  dropped da hedgehog what became super sonic and ran away followed by a manic  neilson and a mad phoenix, the mama had her fingers totally stupid in the collars,  they came between  the metal ring for the leash and two furious pups, all screamed and it was as if the last judgement happens in our garden. but finally da dad got da super sonic and brought it to a meadow and the neighbors had a free show unplugged and unstreamed…

the domestic bliss is as cross as the tower of Pisa, butt anyway, a good start into a new week, we think…

  1. OUCH!
That is a good way to lose fingers…hope they will be OK.

    Mr Prickles was OK??

We cornered a young coon, once and petcretary was not able to help it at all…we were too crazed to let her grab us, and that coon had some sharp teeth…maybe a taser would have stopped us, but she doesn’t have one…

  2. WFT Nobby says:

Oooh it all looks SO EXCITING at your place. A night time encounter with Sonic the Hedgehog! Dear Nelly and Phenny, can I please come to live with you? A ten week old WFT puppy would only add to the fun…

  3. How wonderful to have a hedgehog visiting you, Phenny and Nelly. We are still waiting for a visit in our garden too. Granny’s doggie who’s an angel now, once caught one, not knowing that the needles were sharp and deep…well, to make a long story short, she never did it again🙈Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞

  4. That was an exciting night! You should charge the neighbours for the evening entertainment. I hope everyone has recovered today.

  5. Sandra Hangey says:

wow, I would never have guessed that was a hedge hog, and I am sorry butt I laughed all the way through this tail of mischief and it seems all 4 of you were in on that together. I am so relieved da pawrentz were not injured and the hedge guy was ok and that neither of you were harmed in the making of this Wild Weim Story, Maybe you should start Wile Weim Wed. I am sure you could come up with one for each week.. Love you guys. I just sat here and tried to think if Bob was screaming for gloves, I have no clue where he keeps his work gloves and that would be the only ones in the garage. I could do post about whats in HIS garge

I just read this to He Man Bob and he said you tell a great story, we both got a morning laugh together out of your free show for the neighbors.

  6. Well we are happy that Mr. (or Miss) Hedgehog was rescued from the Wild Weims and brought to a meadow where he or she might have some peace??? I agree with Miss Jackie that you should charge a fee for entertaining your neighbors….never a dull moment at your house !

What language does the hedgehog speak? French, English, German?

  19. It’s always an adventure at your place. I hope that the rest of the week is a little quieter – and less painful.

  20. I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath and it was just like I was there!
Fast and furious for you all with the hedgehog and the boys. Yikes! Hope the fingers are okay and the hedgehog remembers the fright and goes to a hedge with no fast pups like the Weim Boys!

  21. Brian says:

Y’all sure do know how to find the exciting things in life boys!

  22. What an exciting story! There was drama, screaming, prickles, missing gloves, and finger-ripping emergencies. My kind of story.

    Love and licks,
