BON CHEW & COWCOW

…do you know such days, what give you a weird feeling as soon as you put one paw out of the bed?  Well, we had such a day and it started in da early morning as da dad used da bathroom… he came back and said the handle of the mixer tap is broken. that are no good news, but because we have two sinks, he said we can replace it with the other mixer tap… that ended with two broen  taps without handle. and to fix such a thing with instant glue looks only good for 2 minutes butt is not useable…

…after da dad rushed to da diy-cowboy store he brought a new tap home. but it didn’t fit.  so we had to remove the sink-part from the furniture to tinker it somehow together. as da staff tried to remove da sinks, da whole beast  slipped and landed into da wooden part.

… and to have a crack in da bowl is not the best thing when that bowl is a sink… just saying…. and we wonder why they always come up with the idea to buy new stuff after they wrecked the whole crib….

..and because such days are such days, our walk in te afternoon ended different than eggs-pected too… Nelly 1 Dad 0

… and therefore da phenny looks for new bathroom furnitures….

while da Nelly eats reads the instruction how to clean a dirty pants…

HAVE A MARVELOUS MO(A)NDAY ALL

  1. Oh, dear…good intentions gone wrong…now for sure we will hire a plumber to fix our broken faucet…pawppy would take forever and petcretary hasn’t a clue about that…
Did the mud come out, or did it become like a permanent tattoo on the knee?

  2. Gosh – sounds like a really BAD DAY for the bathroom, Dad’s DIY efforts AND Dad’s pants. We sure hope it ended better than it started and Dad eventually got the sink fixed (and his pants cleaned??).

    Hugs, Teddy

Crikey, this is surpassing even the usual DIY disbehaviours… gotta learn to stay in bed when those ‘it feels like a funny day’ vibes come – coz they are likely not to be funny at all. Except for a blog post… Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  15. Oh my gosh! If you didn’t have bad luck, you’d have no luck at all. Hope you’re able to find the proper replacement parts, get everything installed and back to functioning and have the laundry done spic and span.

  23. Our dad always says “call the plumber” which upset our Mom because she thought he should fix it. But she is now becoming glad he doesn’t even try and says thank you to you. XOX Xena and Lucy

  24. Brian says:

Your poor Dad, ours is the same way except he gave up trying DIY and now does HIO (Hire It Out)!

  25. Marsha Gay says:

Oh, boy does that sound like a bad day. You are brave to be in the same room as a cursing, frustrated father.

  26. The OP Pack says:

Oh well, we bet Mom wanted a new sink anyway:) We have been without our dishwasher for over three weeks now. First we couldn’t get the peeps that we have a service contract with to come fixit,, and fighitng to get another, the two parts came, they spent an hour trying to change the parts, and then they found out that one of the new parts was totally defective. Now we are waiting again for another part to come. Maybe by Christmas???

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  27. I am having some sink problems send your staff over.

  28. Wow! |That dirt on your Dad’s pants looks like the bruise on Mom’s knee! Except hers is turning PURPLE (Ewww). Yes, Cinnamon had a part in Mom’s fall. Dogs are dangerous (unlike us cats) And we feel for your Dad and the sink! Mom is dithering on replacing the kitchen sink (one of the reasons why the kitchen is not finished).

  29. The Swiss Cats says:

Next week will start better (hopefully !). Purrs
