BON CHEW & COWCOW

so da last week one of da annual storms came to our kraal… they come every year since Queen Anne de Bretagne flogged brittany to france and not since VW sold cars …

… we had a flood, but it was not that much and the moment we started to take a breath, we heard a lout noise…  da phenny and da nelly were there and no one had something in his mouth or in his paw, so we thought it came from somewhere outside….

…right and wrong… it came from outside, but not from somewhere … it came from our roof…….da smokestack came down and became a puzzle……holy fagg, it was da stack…

…fortunately we survived that stormy night, even with 87 weim-alarms when a flying garbage can passed our crib. Instead to have big dumpsters, everybuddy has to have  an own can now  and so it ends in a can-tastrophe… you can only ride out… with a funny game…what the mama found not really funny, because to da storm&rain  we got snow too…

…it was you who killed that toy! nah! twas you!

… see who is da culprit?

…I want a compensation for that misjudgment!….umm… and  I want a lawyer….

HAVE A MARVELLOUS MO(A)NDAY ALL

  1. Yikes, that was a naughty storm! Glad you are all safe, though:). I suppose you can’t use the fireplace until the smokestack/chimney gets fixed. Phooey, and just when the cold season is starting up.

Right now after a light frost, and a whole day of rain, its windy…and the last of the tennis ball sized walnuts are pelting down like an evil hailstorm. Hope our windows don’t break…and we are glad that tree is far away from the cars.

Funny thing is, the noise they make has been going on for several days, us pups totally ignore it and we do not bark at it…we did bark when we heard you on the video! BOL!

Oh dear All, I am glad you are fine,, the weather seems scary, in here it is expected too, Be in safe, love you all, Thank you, nia

  3. Our garbage can is up at the end of our lane, so it cannot reach us, even when there is a big storm!

Ww hope it will be a quiet week this week!

    Woofs,
    Ollie

  4. OH NOOOO! You all had a stack attack! And there are garbage cans flying all over the place too? Sounds to me like you’re in the TWILIGHT ZONE. Stephen King might be able to use your story in his next novel!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Yikes – that’s a serious storm and you NEED your smoke stack! We’re expecting crazy weather like that tomorrow.

  6. My GBGV Life says:

Sounds like a really nasty storm but the main thing is, even though the chimney stack died, you all are alright.

I would have sympawthee… except that the Hutch has been enduring such a battering for several weeks now, almost without break! It’s all too early, this foulness… and there was snow on the hilltops already!!! So you see, no sympawthee from mee (except there is really, I would never wish this on anybuddy…) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  8. Holy smokes, you lost your stack! Good to hear you are all okay. A pain to have the stack repaired now! We had some wind last night but nothing like that.

  9. OMDs it rained bricks…I’m so glad no pups or humans we hurt…but I hope your Dad isn’t going to have to get on the roof.
    Hugs cecilia

  10. Sandra Hangey says:

soooo happy to hear the storm did not do a lot of damage, even though the stack fell, no one was under it and i hope it is not leaking in side from the hole it left. at last something not blamed on the Weims. Beau has a message for the two of you.

Are you two French? because Eiffel for you! har har har… no kidding guys, we love you lots

  11. Sandra Hangey says:

by the way, that was a really MANLY bark.

  12. Broken stacks and flying trash cans sound like the Wizard of Oz to us. We all turned around and looked at Mom’s computer when we heard you bark.

  13. That’s a very realistic alarm you have! Sounds just like a weim! 🙂

  14. And of course it’ll get colder while you get that chimney sorted… 😉

  15. That was one wild storm you had. We hope you can get the smokestack fixed soon.

  16. Whoa…that was quite the storm! Can-tastrophy…you guys crack me up. Hope the stack is easily repaired.

  17. Lavinia Ross says:

We’ve had serious storm here yesterday too, categorized as a “bomb cyclone”. Sorry to hear you have a roof to fix now.

  18. lapaylor says:

gosh, what a storm that’s usually what we get and we have a fire watch because it’s so dry here in Colorado. Hot and dry conditions today near 80F at end of October is bizarre.

  19. Kismet says:

I don’t know any bird lawyers. My doctor is a duck-what a quack

I thought bricks kept the big bad wolf from blowing it down.

  25. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

When you had that storm we were on a ship in the middle of the Bay of Biscay. It lived up to it’s reputation!

  26. Marsha Gay says:

We are getting rain here too. It must be from your storm.

  27. Brian says:

Dang boys, that really was some storm!

  28. Lulu: “Ooh, we had a storm here too and it knocked over and broke some of Mama’s plumeria. But as far as I know the chimney is still up there!”

  29. Snow already!? Brrr. We think the guilty dog was caught red-pawed Xena and Lucy and Chia

  30. Jan K says:

Wow, what a storm! We’re glad the only things flying around stayed outside (especially the snow)!
