  1. Hooray!! You caught a varmint! Good riddance!

  2. Uh, very bad idea to put it on the carpet in any room. You should stay away from the mama today, I suppose.

  3. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

That is true, but it has an even bigger effect when placed on the bed half chewed in the middle of the night.
Flynn liked night time hunting but had to bring his prize to us. We often woke to the sound of crunching bones on the bed.

  4. Impressive work boys!
I’m afraid my hunting days are behind me.
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.
PS from Gail: Bertie’s so-called ‘hunting days’ consisted of repeated failed attempts to chase after larger mammals (deer, foxes) that he never ever in a million years was going to catch…

  5. I’m sure you boys were hoping your Mama would make something delicious out of your prey….roasted mouse, mouse souffle, mousie casserole……but instead she didn’t appreciate your hunting effort. Nice try!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Congratulations, boys! My mom wouldn’t have wanted that nasty slimy thing brought inside either. They simply don’t understand.

  7. Sandra Hangey says:

eek! the good news is, this is prey no body wants in there house or yard, so in a way you did good but Not the part of in the kitchen…

  8. Mya says:

Haha. Well you have to start somewhere!!

  9. OMDs I think I might have heard Mama’s gleeful squeal all the way across the pond.
    Happy Monday
    Hugs Cecilia

  10. We don’t understand why anyone would think that was wrong!! We’ve done it and Mom always makes a gleeful sound. Well…maybe not gleeful.

  11. You boys did a great job hunting. We don’t thing our pawrents would be happy if we dropped one of those in our kitchen either.

  12. Looks like a teeny tiny Buster. At least it was one of our obnoxious little cousins and not a true rodent of excellence…

  13. Kismet says:

I can’t determine what it was

  14. Brian says:

You boys are starting the week out right!

  15. Well, the kitchen is better than the bed. Just saying….

  16. Gulp…that little thing came in the house?! Or did it happen to ‘catch a ride’ in someone’s jaws?

  17. lapaylor says:

gonna be hard to put that head on the wall…

  22. Marsha Gay says:

It looks like you are a small game hunter.

  23. We (Xena and Chia) are ratters but are willing to start small, like being mousers. Good job, boys, and good luck on your future hunting.

  24. Edith Chase says:

Gross, uhh I mean, awesome! I’m conflicted. Haha!

  25. Lulu: “It’s like a combination of fine dining and real estate ― a lot of it is presentation and location, location, location!”
