da last sunday of da august, we drove to Segre /Maine-Anjou for da Weimaraner Special Show…
…. there were ~ 1400 dogs of all breeds and their people and it was very crowded. Butt the security people at the entrance did a good job, they are now obliged to check if people have either a Pass Sanitaire with da spy app, if they are recovered covid-patients or tested with a pcr test. We got that shots, so we got a red bracelet, what was good for… well actually nothing, because all people were anyway together and all had to wear a mask.
…. this time it was a show without cages, only the packs had a kennel area in da shade so they could wait for their ring time, without ripping off the arms of their owners….
… we knew not much of the weim-people pawsonally, because the peeps of our common circle knew why they skipped that event…
..so we wandered a little around and then we went to our ring to wait for the judgement…
… we sadly have no photos of our presentation, because we all were in da ring and to take photos while you are an exhibitionist , is sacrilege..
… sadly da Nelly was da canine reincarnation of Klaus Kinski, so da dad went with him and da Phenny had to go with the mama… that is the most dangerous decision ever, because da Nelly is always glued to the mama and as soon as he is two inches away from her his behavior is a little volatile to say it gently…
…..and because the mama would not listen to her clan, who said don’t go…, the wheel of unfortune started to roll and instead of a fat trophy we got nothing..
… the mama was not amused, let’s say she was a Piss-tol, ready to fire… but not because of us, we would tell ya if we had done weird stuff, so at least we could laugh at it together….
…..finally we had an unrewarding day, butt it was mighty instructively… and so the motto of da future is:
It’s not important to listen to your heart, as long as you will listen to your friends who know whereof they speak and what’s good for you.

Sounds like a lot of chaos. Sorry you didn’t win anything. There was a big show at the place we had our FastCAT but Mom doesn’t show us so she just went there to go shopping for dog stuff. It was chaos on day one when it poured rain and the peeps had to keep their clean dogs clean and dry. Mom laughed a lot watching them carry dogs around. Better luck to you all next time.

I’m sorry you didn’t get a trophy but you made me feel better. Levi behaves pretty well with me, but with my husband his behavior is also “volatile” to say the least!!!!! What is it that these boys listen to their Mama’s so well? BTW I LOVE your outfit that you wore, soooo pretty!! Your hair is gorgeous too!
