BON CHEW & COWCOW

..look we have a new diy project….

..and da dad did his best to tinker that thingy together….

…and even with our help ….

…and all  our wisdom…

… it broke apart  while da dad worked on it… probably material fatigue?… and because there is a lot of tension included, it can not get a duct tape fixing, so it ended screwed..

…the mama is super happy to have a new damaged thingy and because it is not really da show stopper anymore, she used it as a shoe rack for da storage room… with some talent you can create the best things, you can use for other reasons than planned… isn’t that ingenious?

  1. That is called being cunning and thrifty and improvising! It does work!

Petcretary saw a similar set at our local store…(Junk and groceries all under one roof, LOL)…good thing she resisted the urge to take it home…though since it was a round one in three parts, it would have looked nice in the little corner garden…but who wants to mess with such a darned thing when the mosquitoes are eating you alive, and the humidity is like a sauna…UGH!

    Have a good week ahead!

  2. It sure is, Phenny and Nelly…but to bad it broke, it looks so nice😸Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞

  3. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

  5. Another fine purchase from the trash store!

  6. Well now, at least you were able to use it for SOMETHING other than a trashcan liner! That trashure store has so many fun DIY projects to “almost” put together doesn’t it!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  7. That is a lot of pieces to assemble and lots of stress. Your dad did a great job!

  8. Charles Huss says:

My wife always buys things that need major construction and I am always tasked with the duty. Usually, it turns out like your flower thingy.

  9. My GBGV Life says:

Lots of things that are broken can still be quite useful. They don’t have to be pretty to be good.

  10. A shoe rack is perfect function for that thingy!

  11. MadSnapper says:

is there no way to return it? or just to much trouble. as chief purchase agent, I try to steer away from projects that require assembly because at our old and irritable age, we end up yelling hbo words at each other.. at least you found a use for it…

  12. Da Dad gets a thumbs up for effort and Da Mama gets a thumbs up for repurposing.
Speaking of flowers Twinies guess what I’m doing this week? I am Flower Nanny to my neighbor’s flowers while they are away on vacation. Everything crossed I don’t kill anything with too much TLC.
