hmm… well, the thing is that this quote floats all over the etherwebs but it is the only quote from “KR” – who is a non-existent entity. Katasai is a surname used in Thailand (but also Hungary..??!) A rakshasa is a demon in Sanskrit (and some Chinese) legends. The demons prefer the dark and, like Dracula, fear the light. So this quote is often used for the wrong reasons. The rakshasa feels safe in the dark for light is the most damaging to them. So don’t fear the dark, in other words.

Most ordinary folks who fear the dark know exactly what light can do and want it back. What they are actually fearing is the lack of the light that makes them feel safe.

Sorry to break the bubble, but this is a completely made up and inaccurate item. It is pseudo-philosophy.

What the person (if not being mischievous as rakshasas are prone to be) might have been attempting was to explain that those in ignorance and all the time suffering in life will only find themselves free of agony by pursuing knowledge. … but nah… I think this is just pure mischief!

which kinda fits you two, right? &*> Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
