BON CHEW & COWCOW,

to  Nature Furryday

hosted by da LLB-Crew,

and

hosted by AUNT YAM

…one photo-one story.  it is done. da dad and finally  the mama got their furst shots.  we are torn about that vaccination…. there was only a short time to mix it together and no one can say what may happen in some months and in some years. there are doubts, fears and worries. but we don’t want to become a danger for us and for others. and we want at least some normal back. and we don’t want to become outlaws, who will be not allowed at public places, because that will happen soon. and we want to see our grandparents, we saw the last time one year ago.  so we accepted what we have to do and we hope it goes smooth and there are no  serious after- or side effects.  and we hope that all people of this world will learn something from this hard time. and we also hope that we can  conquer this virus and we can make a good life possible for all. that should be our mission…

…. this may is more a constant mayday with temperatures , what fit more to november….

… but the giant elephant ear likes it and it gives Lake Sammy a mighty fine touch of Jurassic Park…

…and the yellow flowers are like little suns who can make even a dark day a little brighter…

…like this little fellow who was brave enough to go out in that siberian cold….

….so we tried to climb on a tree to come closer to da sun…it sadly didn’t work

…and therefore our roses for Rosie are small butt if they grow closer to the sun they will become beautiful…

HAVE A FUNNY FURRYDAY AND A GOOD WEEKEND ALL

Getting my second shot on the 17th. So far so good.

  2. What beautiful flowers and a butterfly too! We love the giant elephant ears!

  3. My Mom and Dad have had both doses and had only a sore arm after the second – nothing else….hopefully your parents will have no after effects….main thing is they are safe and protected. It will be fun to see the grandpawrents again…..I foresee lots more presents in your future boys!

    Hugs, Teddy

Well thought through, well said. Mission begun, here’s to mission accomplished.

  5. We have similar thoughts about the vaccine. Especially since we are now reading about breakthrough cases after vaccination. I will stay with the hope that all will go well. A beautiful butterfly! Lots of roses for Rosie!

  6. My GBGV Life says:

Mom is very thankful she no longer lives in Europe as you all have a bad time there. Here most places don’t even require masks anymore and life is getting back to the way it used to be for humans. Mom had her shots, no problems at all with either one. Hope your parents have no trouble too.

  7. Mom had both shots and didn’t have any issues. She was concerned about getting it but did so she could see our human sister.

    The butterfly is soooo beautiful.

agree we have no idea what that vaccine will do in the coming years and now the one we got says we will need a booster shot in Sept. what? we got the moderna. i loved your take on the vaccine and agree 200 per cent.. If i ship the tractor to you, tell Dad we like Purple duct tape best. Wow are the two of you TALL when STANDING… you almost don’t need to climb that tree

  9. Da Twinies and staff I’m happy you were able to get your first vaccine and I hope and pray no side effects. We both our Pfizers in Jan and Feb. Very sore arms for both of us Dad of Angel Madi aka Super man, had no other issues. I had some fatigue w/#2.

We have not seen favorite sis and BIL of Angel Madi since December 26, 2019. They both work in education and were able to complete their vaccines earlier than most in their age group. We hope to see them very soon. And may you all see your grandparents soon too

Now for you gawgeous nature photos you stuck the Mother Lode today. WOW x 87
    Hugs Cecilia

That was a nice out n’ about boys and I’m glad your Mom and Dad got their first shots, we had minimal side effects here!

  12. Lots of great nature here in this post.
Gail had her second jab about an hour ago and is pleased to have got it done.

  13. What gorgeous rose, guys. Good for your pawrents getting fully vaccinated. We hope people learn from this panDAMNic but suspect they’ll continue to follow in the same footprints as they did during the 1918 one. *Sigh
    Happy Fri-Yay-have a great weekend.

  14. Oh my goodness, what pretty nature!! We are also pretty chilly here for May….but we think it might be better than some of the hot weather some peeps are having!

Congrats to you pawrents getting vaxed…our pawrents weren’t sure either, but they REALLY want to be able and see family that lives far away this year.

Thanks for my beautimous Rosy Rose!
    xoxo,
    Rosy

  15. Both our pawrents survived their two doses of “the shot” and only had one day when they felt slightly off after the shot. We’re thankful that your pawrents are on their way to being safe too. You found some lovely nature to show us despite the cold.

  16. We have had both shots with no side effects. The second was nearly 3 weeks ago so we should be at maximum protection now. Your pawrents are right though. No-one knows if it will cause problems in the future. We have to trust the scientists and hope it is safe.

  17. Good effort on climbing that tree! I’m happy to report that I had zero side effects from either dose.

  18. We LOVE your shots and story! Especially the tree climbing dogs and the Roses! We have had a cold spring but not as bad as you guys over there. We hope your weathergets better this week. We are sure your Mom is tired of wet (and purrhaps muddy) dogs.

  20. We both had the shots without any serious effects. Hope you get to see the grands soon!

  21. Amy: How odd (and annoying) that you are having such cold weather at the very end of May. You put into words exactly how I think/feel about the vaccine. Yes, I’ve had both doses. Why? I want to start ballroom dancing again, and now my husband will take me!
Xena: Whatcha got treed there. Nelly?

  22. Marsha Gay says:

My parents had both shots. On the second one, one got night sweats, and the other the sniffles, but Ibruprofin knocked it. Good luck

  23. All of our family have had both vaccines, from Pfizer and Moderna. All without more than the predicted sore arm.
I had mixed feelings about it, but since I work in health care it really was a no brainer…and now they have made it mandatory to keep working there, Well, that isn’t right in my opinion.

Your nature around you seems not to mind the coldness too much. Beautiful pics!
You Weimies had best be careful of your nails…petcretary had a pup when she was young, who pulled his nail right out on a tree trunk…he was trying to get the squirrel…

But here’s to normalcy and visits and travel and warmer sunny days!

  24. Jan K says:

I feel exactly the same about the vaccine, but it seems inevitable that we all have to give in and do it. I procrastinated as long as I could, but now I have my appointment scheduled.

  25. Lee and Phod says:

We are glad you got the first shot. We are ready to be done lockdown.
