If the stores offer gingerbread as a must
then you know we have august.
When we efurrywhere Last Christmas can hear
then we know october is near.
And if we are in da month november
we suddenly the hiding place for gifts from last year remember.
And in december every bone
feels as if with christmas we’re done.
January is easy, gone is all frust
and we wait for next august….
… and what will we do in da rest of da year?
… nothing.. we sleep…

Yep – you are RIGHT friends…..But I think maybe this year we will just take our happy days as they come since there are a lot of unhappy days as well. I love this poem. it says it ALL… so very true.. thank you for the thanksgiving wishes to all us crazies in the USA…. last week we watched the Patriot with Mel Gibson. all about how France came to help us get out from under the king… I thought of the four of you, when the French sailing ships were sitting in the harbor helping us fight our battle for freedom…
Mostly I forget where I stashed all those gifts I got on sale during the summer! 🙂

Yes! 2020 was a horrible, rotten, no good, very bad year! We are quite looking forward to stepping over the threshold to 2021! The best thing about this year is that our Mom retired!
