BON CHEW AND COWCOW

to

today we  share NATURE FURRYDAY, hosted by da LLB-Crew,

… look we visited da Park of Plemet…let’s see what we  find…

…the weather is sh*tty, but we are brave and can stand da breton drizzle…

…  da playground is empty, the kids can no longer play there because of that covid…

..and  da picnic area looks  abandoned…

…and we were alone in that Park … that’s  not that worse, we love it to be without people, it’s better this days… and the awful weather was with us, so  no other dogs and people. Currently we better  walk in da park, because of the hunting season what’s in full swing and the noises are like war.  According to merian (a travel magazin) every year 40 to 60 persons will be shot dead during da hunting  season in France . That is NOT true, only those who look and behave like wild boars… and all our hunters have enough scope aboard and they never fail.  Butt nevertheless it is not really funny to  stand suddenly in the middle of wild costumed hunters with a bottle of chicken stock in your hand, because the guy at the road block waved us through. He saw us in the car and thought we belong to da big hunting event. At least they were nice who to hell  sent that clowns ? and showed us a place where the mama can sprinkle  her stuff around for trailing with us. And it can be dangerous to land in the middle of a pack of hounds while they follow a trace , so  let sleeping dogs lie, da chicken stock in da bottle and never disturb hunting dogs at work. Even me and da Nelly go into a clinch when we work in da fields, we are no pack hounds but chiens d’arrêt and individualists. Oh and da Phenny is da better hunter although da breeder never worked that way, probably the german ancestors who gave lots of  talent to him. Butt da Nelly looks like the picture of a working type, so one looks like that and the other one is it, that’s perfect democracy…

…and after we marked that fab red bush …

…we better hop back in da car because da drizzle turns into a constant rain….

…and da small rosebud from last week turned into a super yellow rose for Rosy…and with that rose we wish you a

FUNNY FURRYDAY AND A HAPPY WEEKEND

  1. Oh, dear we don’t think we would enjoy being in a gang of hunters either…yikes! Dalton would go and try to bite their heels, and I, well, I would just stand there and bark them till their hunting party is over cause I scared all the prey away!

Hope you get some nice sunshine, too, to help increase the pleasant factor of your daily strolls.

  2. Right Weimtwins! It is a nice side of the virus that places are empty and those hunters… We have denied hunting in our forests and you don’t believe the words they called us.
    Stay safe, my friends.
    Kosmo

  3. It might not be 40 killed dead but quite a few people (not necessarily hunters) are killed each year 😦

  4. You all were very brave to be in the middle of a bunch of hunters but then I know you boys protected your parents from any danger – there used to be a lot of fox hunting around here where we live but they have stopped that. People with weapons sometimes mistake a human for a fox (don’t quite understand that one though!!!!!!)………….anyway, sorry the rain ruined your fun!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Hari OM
Well, gracious… it is certainly good to not have to face the firings!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  6. My GBGV Life says:

You should not fear the pack of hounds, for pete’s sake, we live in a pack of hounds. We don’t like the hunting with guns, very dangerous and here too people are shot by mistake every year. Be careful out there.

  7. Looks like you had the park to yourselves. And yes, safer to be in the park than where the hunters are! Happy Friday!

  8. Happy Nature Friday my sweet Weimie friends. Playgrounds recently re opened but I’m not at all sure that was a good idea. C19 has spiked here like everywhere else.
I’m glad you two and your loyal staff had a nice walk in spite of the rain. A hunter needs a scout so you two are well suited.
Dad of Madi and I liked your saying about writing on the walls.
My mom used to say: ‘fool’s names like their faces, always show up in public places’!!
Hugs and Happy weekend and please please please you 4 stay safe and well

  9. Zoolatry says:

Maybe the pawrents should be putting those day-glo jackets on you … protection, ya know!

  10. Sandra Hangey says:

Oh my dog! What an adventure you had. I am glad you stayed away from all those hunters and all those hounds and all those loud noises. Every time we go to a park here we feel sad because there are no with no children in the playground and have not been for 7 months all the nice things are there and there’s nobody there but us. We live in the city but our city has Parks just about on every block. Both said to tell you that catahoulas are hunting dogs but that as far as we know he doesn’t know how to hunt because every time we’ve been out three days in a row we have seen not a squirrel not a raccoon not a dog not a cat not even or person running walking or riding a bike. When we used to walk big boy we saw all of the above

  11. Cupcake says:

You boys have the most fun adventures. Mostly in the rain.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  12. We don’t think it would be fun to be surrounded by hunters. We’re glad to hear you all made it out safely. That sure is a beautiful rose.

  13. Brian says:

That had to be strange to visit an empty park! Hey, humans go out hunting stupid here too and sometimes they find it!

  14. lapaylor says:

I’d love to find a park without maskless people running right up to us!But not hunters… oy glad you survived

  15. Gosh, we’re so happy that this story ended well! Love that red bush and the beautiful yellow rose.

  16. We don’t think we would want to be around crazy hunters! We’re glad you stayed safe.

    The Florida Furkids

  17. Gail says best to steer clear of hunters. In my dreams I am a champion hunter of big game in Africa, and it is very unsporting of Gail to point out that I have never even come close to catching a toy mouse…
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.

  18. The park to yourself sounds good even if the weather was Sh*tty. Sweet yellow rose for Rosy! Enjoy your weekend!

  19. The Gang at LLB says:

The park does sound safer that where the hunters are….we are glad you got to mark the bush before the rain started!!

Thanks so much for my beautimous rosy!
    xoxo,
    Rosy

  20. why do you go where people are shooting at things? When Mom was a teen, she rode her horse through the woods every hunting season yelling, “Person on horse! Person on horse” He was a big red horse and could have been mistaken for a deer by a near-sighted , trigger happy idiot. XOX Xena and Lucy (We are glad she didn’t get shot.)

  21. JoAnn Stancer says:

Pretty place and nice no others there. Have a wonderful weekend.

  22. M. K. Clinton says:

It is dangerous to be in the woods here during hunting season. We almost got ran over by a buck chasing a doe across the trail where we ride our bikes. It was incredible to see though!

  23. The OP Pack says:

It is so sad to see the playground and picnic areas so quiet and abandoned. We hope that Covid guy gets out of town asap.

Oh, the rosebud sure did became a gorgeous rose!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  24. Marsha Gay says:

Be careful with those hunters. In America if you move they shoot you

  25. Most of our playgrounds are empty too right nows, butts they are gonna start to open soon I thinks. Our state is doin’ betters (knock on wood), so things are slowly opening up, while other states are doing REALLY bad. Cause peeps just won’t wear their damn masks, and keeps their distance, cause ‘freedom’ or some such bs! Anyhu, maybe by next Spring, the playgrounds and picnic tables will have some shrunken peeps on them!
Keep safe, and tells the peeps to wash their paws!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  26. Lee and Phod says:

We are in hunting season here and we haven’t heard anything yet. 🤞

  27. Best to stay safe. And dry. Have a good weekend and feel free to send the wet stuff our way.

  28. I don’t like huntings…at least not without mousies…🙊😺Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞

  29. Lavinia Ross says:

Stay safe and well! The park looks beautiful, even in grey weather.

  30. Jan K says:

We keep our property posted against hunters, so Luke and I can walk out there without worrying. But we still put his orange harness and collar on, because I don’t really trust hunters to read the signs!
