BON CHEW & COWCOW
look what we furst cooked in our new old kitchen…

… a fig-walnut-cheese -tarte… our neighbor was in da Pyrenees and she brought us a fantabulous Tomme de pyrenees, the one with da black skin, so we had to do something special with it…the figs came from our own garden and da walnuts too….

…and boy that was a job to harvest that nuts…

and all together placed on a puff pastry with some creme fraiche and some spices …

…made a fab meal after only 20 minutes in da oven…

…to ask for a piece is science-fig-tion, right?

…well then we take a nap… and oh… all diplomatic relations are frozen…
HAVE A TASTY TUESDAY ALL

I bet that it soooooooo yummy!
My goodness! The Mama did a beautiful job with that tart! And it doesn’t have any WORDS written on it so I’m thinking it was a HIT. Sure does look tasty.
Hugs, Teddy
Maybe it wasn’t the Mama. It has no FUCK on it!
Yes I noticed that – almost doesn’t look RIGHT without the wording but perrrrrrhaps it was too beautiful to mess up????? LOL
Since when has that stopped the Mama?
Nice job and it looks so fancy. We would not have any idea what to do with those items.
Google is my friend in such a situation.
That looks amazing!
Congratulations! It looks delicious and all went well. Can’t ask for more than that. I have never had a fig anything. That may have to change!
I hear you on the nut harvest. When I was a wee girl I often had to harvest pecans from my Annie Ma’s pecan tree.
Hugs Cecilia

That sure does look delicious. Mom says she has never had a fig unless you count Fig Newtons:) Did you two get at least a tiny taste?
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
There will be no kisses until you get a taste. You have to learn to hold out.
I can’t remember what I was going to say in my comment because when I got to that last photo your shiny Furs and Beauty have blow my mind and made me forget! Also seeing you picking the walnuts out of the tree haha maybe laugh
It sure did turn out lovely! How was the taste?

Lulu: “Those look just like the figs from our tree out back. Sometimes Dada makes fig banana bread out of them. It smells delicious! And just guess whether or not I ever get any of it … *sigh*”
