oooh da unbelievable and unsayable happened… a DIY project…. have mercy baby jeesuz….

…. do you think we will survive?…. naaah, not sure… let’s book a hotel room dude..

…sadly we used our pocked moneeh for stratecical material and so we had to stay and we saw how da mama ripped the wallpapers down…

… her smart idea was not to empty da whole room, butt to do wall by wall …. (it didn’t work like eggs-pected, but thats something you will guess anyway)

… butt we helped her with da ole wallpapers….

… while da Nelly made confetti so it is easier to dispose…

… da phenny even helped with the new wallpapers…

…and added some pawprints what make every wallpaper to wall art…

…but the mama was ungrateful and forgot that thank you never starts with an F so we sent her our statement with da tail because we have no middle  fingers…

…da dad agreed with us, because SHE! said she can do efurrything alone and he will not even notice something or the house wrecking… butt that was a fat lie as we came to da wall cupboards, SHE! was in da sh*t and HE! in a state because that f-ing cupboards did not fit back in da hooks…

… in war da smart soldier prefers cover before sight…

… and finally it looked a little better than before…

…and then our sofa was back ….

…and it is now our new old kitchen…pheeew….

  1. “Thank you never starts with an F”. Bwahaha!
Given that there will surely be a new DIY project soon, I suggest you guys start saving the Euros for that hotel room…
    Toodle pip!

  2. So pleased to hear that the DIY disasters continue with the same standards 😀

  3. DIY’s are always dangerous undertakings, here too…maybe you all need hard hats for the next project? Save those Euros…BOL!

  4. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

I am glad the DIY worked out in the end, but I think you need to start saving for the hotel room for the next time.

  5. Uhoh…….DIYs in your house always have a rocky road to travel. Especially when wallpaper is involved! We think vacating the premises and staying in a hotel (or even a tent in the backyard) is a good idea!

    Hugs, Teddy

Decorating in Europe is different than here. We can’t just unhook cupboards because they are not meant to be moved here. In Europe you all move everything which Mom found weird when she lived there. Glad your place is done and back together.

this i can relate to, the taking down of wallpaper and the putting up of it and it effected me the same way as your mama…. you were riight to hide and i laughed my head off over da dad on the ladder. it was a throwback memory for me. we married in 85 and i moved in HIS house and it had RED, solid red counter tops, what was his wife thinking. trying to tone down the kitchen i decided to do one wall of wallpaper. he came home from work and found me kursing in the kitchen and took over the ladder and all I had to do was cut and hand him the pieces… hugs sweeties and this is perfect for moanday

That was a very successful DIY. Good that your dad got up to help. He might have ended up covered with that wallpaper, otherwise.

    Love and licks,

  11. Uh-oh, another DIY project. Like everyone else is saying – start saving your Euros boys! But it ended pretty well, so now you can all relax for a while.

Ducky sends paw kisses to you all.

  13. lapaylor says:

well, you guys tried to help but wall paper is a thankless job and a tough one that tears marriages apart sometimes from screaming!

  14. Doug Thomas says:

Strikes me that you pups had the moral high ground there, but I’m not the one say. Mom probably earned the right to say that word…. LOL!

  15. Lavinia Ross says:

Most of our DIY projects here are outside. Your Mom and Dad have more energy for inside projects than I do! 🙂

  16. Brian says:

Y’all could do your own DIY TV show boys!

  17. Whew! That was some work. We had an all wallpapers master bath in our new to us home and we both took a look at it and said nope… that is too skeery for us who know nothing about wallpapers, taking it down or putting on knockdown texture that matches the rest of the walls so we found someone to do it. It was probably a good idea because if we had done it, it might have resulted in a lot of F Bombs and a divorce! Your wallpapers turned out very nice!

  18. Mew mew mew Da Phenny an Da Nelly iss guud you both were there to A$$ist an snoopervize! An to make sure SHEE! an HEE!! did not do themselvess a miss-chef!
