to a new epawsode of Angel Sammys and Teddys Pawetaton in pigtures….look what they found for this week…

…uiii very ladylike right?

To be a lady is often hard,

you have to look good and you have to act smart.

You can not use the f-word that much

and you have to wear gloves, a hat and a clutch.

But even dressed and with all disguise

to be a Lady has always it’s price.

So therefore we think to be rather a tramp

with dirty paws and the smell of a swamp.

To be a prole with holes in your sock

is something special and such people rock!

…that was hopefully no autobiographic poem?…. ummm… not sure.. hehehe

  1. When Gail was a teenager, her granny (who lived with them) thought that ‘young ladies’ should wear gloves etc. and not patched jeans, when going into town to meet friends…
    That didn’t go down well..

  2. That poem has a great wisdom, just be what you are, no pretending.

  3. Love the poem……there is much to “see” in this photo and we think there will be some interesting poems today! One thing though is for sure – the artwork is stunning isn’t it!!!!!

  4. Ah how life and times change: photos from my “salad days” show me walking in Central Park (NYC) dressed with gloves on and a little pillbox hat perched on my head! She’s A Lady!

Okay it seems that I have forgot. That a lady I am not! I rather be a slob and keep up with my husband Bob. I am always so thankful that I did not live back when women were required to be ladylike and could not wear comfortable clothes.

  6. We love your poem. Our mom used to prefer to be called a woman rather than a lady because if you are a lady you have to act too proper. She prefers to be able to use those HBO words whenever she wants. BOL!

  7. That poem is very expressive. Lesson learned about being a lady. And being a tramp!

  21. The OP Pack says:

It must take a lot of time to make oneself look like that lady. So we are with you, time is better spent digging holes and getting muddy and looking for lizards, rabbits, and squirrels.

  24. Hmmm, Mommy teaches us to be ladies, but she says I (Xena) talk too loud and too much and I (Lucy) drool over everyone too much. Oh well. She loves us anyhow.
