today we highlight a super summer food:
SALAD
…and our entry is: NELLYS GRILLED ICEBERG SALAD
you need: icebergsalad, tomatoes, or whatever veggie you like, honey, oranges,pepper&salt and your favorite spices, and grated cheese…
…cut da salad and the tomatoes and place it on a ovenproof plate, squeeze the oranges and mix the juice with some spices and da honey and sprinkle something over your salad…
…add da cheese and place it under your grill till the cheese is melted …
… use the rest of the orange dressing or whatever dressing your prefer and give it to da grilled salad… and have some baguette or buns or bread with it…
…as easy as taking a nap, right?
…right…

Interesting. Gail has never tried grilling lettuce, but anything with cheese (melted or otherwise) get our vote!

That really IS as easy as a nap! Mom and I believe that anything covered in melted cheese is good. If she ever tries to melt some cheese over me, I am making a run for it!
