    I had no idea you could grow figs where you live! Wow!

    And I love gooseberries! My parents used to have a bush and if there was fruit on it, the squirrels would steal them and also the dog we had back then,,,he was a rascal.

    all that fruit, woooo hoooo… have not had figs since i was a child in Georgia… I would not eat them then and wonder if I would like them now.. they are on the oh so heathly list for gout and arthritis.. I love pears and have never had currants or seen them grow.

    When I was young my parents went to France to visit people they knew when my dad was stationed there. We stayed a week. I can’t remember the name of the village outside of Nice I had my first glass of currant wine as well as Marbella wine. I slept great as I recall
