…time to bake, YAY! we used a baking mix what even a monkey could do, so the mama nailed it this time with a lot of luck…

…and with the help of da Phenny , who checked if we have all the things we need at home..

…even the baking mold was included this time, so we mixed all things together and threw it in the oven…

…andΒ  the miracle happened and the mandarin cake looked actually like the one of the package…

…and even the baking mold looked like the one of the package, so it was a super success…

….till da Nelly dipped his trunk into da cake and ruined our art piece…

…the mama covered the plowed surface with some icing and it looked as good as new…

…boy are we glad that we rarely have visitors who could query the dog slobber and the weim hairsΒ  in our cake…

  3. Ah yes, one of the often ignored advantages of social distancing – the absence of fear that the unexpected visitor will judge one’s housekeeping standards…

I can 100% vouch that it is for sure eye candy and that is about 95% what makes for a successful dish!! Sometimes even if something is delish tasting but ugly as sinc, folks won’t try it.
    Well done!!
    Hugs Cecilia

I happen to know that dog slobber and licks and hairs do NOT kill humans. I know this because we are still living. ha ha…. you were not following us when we rescued Big boy a year and a half ago. we came home from the shelter and he did not want to go in the yard, he was afraid of the yard. we left him inside for about 10 minutes and i stepped in the door and in the middle of the living room floor was a big black dog, who had take the frozen bread left to thaw on the kitchen cabinet, with a half a loaf of frozen bread between his paws…. yes we did eat the left over bread, but WE waited until it thawed.
