and welcome to da furst edition of IN PURRSUIT OF FLAVOURS!

…and da chefs are ready to present her hard kitchen work…

…we used a bakingmix for cupcakes, so it is easier to prepare, specially this times… and specially because da Nelly begged moi to be my slave assistant

….and my clumsy assistant mentioned that you only  need some oil and and one egg  and some water…

…and all other things you need are inside of da mix…

…even da things you will not need like that cocoa powder…

…after we mixed all things together and put it in da little baking trays, we saw that we forgot that cocoa stuff..

…and we thought the train turns brown when we leave it for around 2 hours in da oven… butt 20 minutes are enough…

..and now come out mr. choo-choo we want to start to use the chocolate  topping and da little candies…

…..sooo it looks like the one on the package, right?… sort of…

…. and with the signature it looks even better…

.. all aboard, to NOWHERELAND!

…dig in!!!

..what do you think da Phenny? well…. you should hop on that train da Nelly… honestly …. butt at the end such baking mixes are not bad, you can follow the instruction or you can ride your own creativity-horse to make something you like more…

… what things do you want to make in da kitchen? Let us know please… and don’t furget to hop over to da Canadian Chefs, who prepared something super special today

That wasn’t even half bad, given that the mama usually makes a mess out of such mixtures …

  2. Hey…the Mama forgot to add something to the dsecor of that cute train to nowhere…we missed the *F* stuff…BOL, BOL!

Good thing there are baking mixes to use, because the shelves in the stores have NO flour. Imagine that…maybe they are all going to try recipes for your blog…yup…right:)

Peeps here are still hoarding all kinds of things…sheesh:(

I haven’t written a blog entry myself, but I left a tried and tested recipe with fish in the comments of the Canadian Cats.

Hey, half the fun of food preparation is leaving out critical ingredients and wondering what happened! Do it all the time. Yeah, no flour is one of those things now. People who’ve never baked bread are finding out it requires a little bit of finesse to pull off, but those bricks they bake do work nicely as doorstops and building blocks for that garden wall hubby promised to make! In a pinch, those bricks can be tossed at strangers foraging in your yard for root vegetables you may have missed when digging out the garden last season. It’s a new problem we must face in these times of grief and woe. Kind of makes forgetting to add the chocolate packet to the cupcake train components not so tragic, eh?!
