…da last week we started to a walk though da botany, because da weather was not as bad as always…

…there was a lot to discover and the paths and ways were even cleaned from da ole leaves and there was a super interesting smell in da ais…

…and after we could not make a decision in which direction we will go…

…we finally found a way what fits for all…

…till we met this couple. it was an older man with a white shepherd who jumped at da Nelly and snarled and da Nelly snarled back…because we are two and it is not fair to snarl together at one  snarling pup, I snarled at the owner who lost it balls and didn’t dare to come closer to take his dog away… what a chaos… after he yelled at his dog 87 times and the shepherd saw that I snarled meanwhile at him too because to snarl at the owner was boring, he didn’t snarl back, he saw that his chance to end as a puzzle is very high and so he went back to that man. the two meandered away as if there is no tomorrow while we exploded behind them…

…butt da Nelly is adult now and he probably had some mules among his ancestors and so he as stubborn as an ass when he will not get his will…

…. that was NOT fair!

… butt funny!                                                                … oh well shut up, da phenny…

Dear furiends, since last night we have the complete lockdown here. We hope all needed systems like power and internet will run without problems and we hope that to be grounded can help to stay healthy…. and naturally the lockdown came AFTER the fab election what had to happen at any cost last sunday…

  1. Hope that those days will pass quickly! And no more broken faucets…else you might have to break the rules…we have a semi lockdown here now too…and its in full mode where petcretary works at the nursing home.

Da Nelly, you are more stubborn than Benji…BOL!

  2. Hari OM
glad you got that gasps of fresh air before the curfew!!! That fellow must surely understand the need for a leash if his old pup is keen to challenge like that… but you all got away in one piece (if undignified), so all good really! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

It’s looking like more and more lockdowns are happening in the US, though only because local and state leaders can’t wait for the White House to get it’s head out of its derriere! Hope all goes well there, you stay safe and healthy.

  4. Goodness – that white shepherd should have realized that you don’t bark at two Weims and get away with it! Two is better than one for sure. Looks like a beautiful spot for a walk though……glad you had a chance to do it since you are on lockdown now. We are pretty close to that… least we have plenty of foodables and treats for ME but it’s getting a bit SCARY isn’t it! Take care… least we can keep in touch THIS way!

    Hugs, Teddy O’Kimmell
    Happy (?) St. Patrick’s Day!

  5. And why was he not on a lead? Spoiling all your fun. Yup, the lockdown sure is here — you are allowed to drive your pets out for their daily exercise though 😉

Happy St.Patrick’s Day, dear Lovely Friends, I know I watch I listen… all news. It is not a good time for all of us. We are close to lockdown too… Please be in safe and take care. Thank you, Love, and Hugs, nia

  8. My GBGV Life says:

Yes, this virus thing really sucks! We are starting to shut down here too. Really bad.

  9. Our little town Venice is pretty much shut down and I look for all restaurants to close soon.
It’s totally surreal. Sending you Happy St. Pat’s Day wishes, at least we can do that!

  10. Oh dear me Da Twinies…da White shepherd obviously found at da Brudders have each other’s backs. Thank goodness of leashes.
I am so very sorry about your lockdown which includes out of doors. You 4 stay very very safe and well and I send my prayers. Currently out of doors is ok here no gatherings of more than 10 people
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. What a beautiful walk until the stoopid Shepherd! No walkies is no fun. Stay safe, guys!

  12. Hope you guys got litter pans, if no one can go outside 😂😕😉

  13. Brian says:

That was quite a walk boys! Y’all take care and Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us!

  14. We don’t know why you two wanted to rumble. Playing is much more fun. Mom says that’s the age-old difference between boys and girls. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! XOX Xena and Lucy

  15. Our state went into shutdown yesterday at midnight. It’s eerie but I enjoyed the pictures of a mule-weim with the dad goosing him into the car! I needed that laugh!

  16. Lavinia Ross says:

Things are rapidly closing down here, too. Stay well, all of you.

  17. lapaylor says:

Your story was so funny, but then the quote… banned walks outside??? Even dogs? San Fransisco shut down but allows walks of dogs,
this is so bad I can’t believe any people think it’s not real…

  18. Jan K says:

We are glad you had gotten a chance to go out on an adventure – quite the adventure! – before being locked down. Take care of yourselves, stay healthy, and we all hope and pray this is over soon. Crazy times.

  19. We are so happy you got to go on an adventure before the lockdown! We have a bunch of things we can’t do here either, but they haven’t banned walks outside yet!!!
Stay Safe….and don’t let your Mama get bored and start dressing you up a lot(that’s what our Mama is doing)!
    Rosy, Jakey & Arty

  20. Let’s hope it will be over soon, Phenny and Nelly, we’re in a lockdown too. We loved the way you needed a little help from your Paw…MOL💚Pawkisses for a Happy St. Patrick’s Day🐾😽💞

  21. Stay safe and avoid those ‘Schäferhunds.’ Things here seem to get more shut down with each day. I understand the need to tamp down the virus curve, but alcohol is probably needed more than ever now. Just saying. 🍺

  22. What a fun last walk for a bit, say safe.

  23. We too were wondering what the lockdown means for dogs. How far from you home are you allowed?
    Toodle pip!

  24. Lee and Phod says:

We are almost in lockdown. Grocery stores and pharmacies are open. Not much else. We love having our peeps home, even if the Lady vacuumed and it was terrible.

  25. Bella, Roxy and says:

No walks outdoors…that’s crazy! Also, we want you to know that Dui would have snarled and lunged and barked at that dog. He’s crazy when on the lead.

  26. M. K. Clinton says:

I’m sure that other dog was scarier fur less along with their owner! Way to show solidarity dudes. Please stay safe. All our restaurants, bars, casinos, and a lot of stores are closed here. Everything is canceled!

  27. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

I am glad you all got your walk before the lockdown. More things every day are closing and I think very soon we will be in lockdown too.

  28. The OP Pack says:

We are so wishing Mom could get better so we can go for some walks too, but we don’t want to meet a snarly dog like that one. We aren’t on lockdown (yet) but we are doing our best to have Mom and Dad practice that social distancing that is so vital today and for many days to come.

    Happy St. Paddy’s Day!!!

    Woos, Lightning and Timber

  29. We are a hop, skip, and a jump away from that kind of lockdown. Everything is closing down till further notice. We are still allowed to take walks, (but not at the county parks which are our favorite parks.) Good luck with this, friends. Paws crossed that this works and the virus goes away soon.

    Love and licks,

  30. With our pups, we will manage!
Schools, shops, bars closed in some counties, but not others…so those who want to party St. Patrick’s Day just drive a little bit, party in crowds, then go home…probably with bad beer virus possibility. We can still take dog walks ( and if a dog barks, one must return barks…Molly’s rule…and she never forget when. a dog barks first at her when she is sitting so pretty and friendly…never…that dog is always on the naughty dog to be barked at forever list)
At least with few people being out, you can hear the birds instead of traffic. That’s nice.
PAw waves in solidarity – take care

  32. Happy St. Patrick’s Day boys. We’re sorry you had to run into that bad tempered pup and human.

  33. Marsha Gay says:

Who does that dog think he is messing with.

  34. Oh man, that doggie didn’t knows not to mess with The Twins! BOL!!
Hey, we are on lockdown too! Butts, we are able to walk the doggies, as long as we stay 6 feet away from other peeps. Which is very good, cause some peep live in apt. buildings, and have big dogs…can’t imagine not being able to go out….hehehheeee
Anyhu, truly enjoyed the slide show!!!! BOL!!! OMD, Ma has had to do that with me too! Not a pleasant experience, huh? ☺
Nice try thou! 10 points for form!

  35. edgar62 says:

The big white dog didn’t seem all that friendly. We have some restrictions but we are not in lockdown. There is still freedom of movement but some things are cancelled – like outside gatherings of 500 or indoor gatherings of 100, so most sport activities and concerts have been cancelled.

  36. Stay safe and take good care of your humans!

  37. Lee says:

We are joining you in lockdown my state Ohio will lockdown tomorrow.
    Sweet William The Scot

  38. Doesn’t he know walks outside are for mental health? I wish you guys well! 😘😘😘
