  1. What a most beautiful camellia! They bloom in winter? I did not know that!

  2. Your white camellia is just gorgeous. What a pretty sight on a winter morning.
    Happy Nature Friday guys!
    Toodle pip!

  3. Oh wow…..that camellia is amazing………my Mom has no luck with them AT ALL. Looks like yours is very happy there – so happy it popped out a RED camellia to say HELLO AND THANK YOU!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. My GBGV Life says:

It seems weird to see flowers this time of year. Everything we have outside is dead and buried under the fun white stuff!

  6. Ohhhh your white Camellia bush is gorgeous!! Amazing how all the blooms popped at once. Our Ruby our Camellia teases us and her blooms are very shy. She currently has about 5 or 6 blooms but none are close together. I wish it would pop like your lovely white bush.
Happy Friday and BTW I love the photo of you two in the garden…that pose is SHOW RING quality
    Hugs Cecilia

  7. Charles Huss says:

It is so surprising that you have flowers in January. I would think it is too cold for that but, of course, I know very little about plants.

OMD that camellia is amaaaaaaazing!!! Well done on having a rose to offer too. Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx

  9. Your Camelia has flowers, is that normal in January? Do you have the same phänomen as we here, +4C and no snow. This is unbelievable.

  10. Those are so beautiful. I had no idea there were flowers that bloom in cold climates in the winter. Our weather has been so warm that many of the spring flowers are starting to bloom. I am sure it will get cold and kill them before spring, sadly. Have a great weekend!

  11. lapaylor says:

love the scent of camelias and the word camelia too

  12. That one red camellia. Wow! What message is it trying to send….?

    Love and licks,

  13. It must be nice to see flowers in the winter. Around here the only white thing is the snow on the ground.

  14. Kismet says:

    You two produce good fertilizer.

  16. M. K. Clinton says:

I bet your backyard smells like heaven!! I LOVE camellias.

  17. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

The camellia is looking beautiful. It has been so mild that all the snowdrops are up, and a lot of the daffodils. Of course now they forecast cold weather over the weekend.

  18. Bella, Roxy and says:

Do those flowers know that there is still more winter to come? However, they make a cheery sight.

  19. Wow…your camillas are beautimous…and my yellow rose is pawfect!
    Merci beaucoup, mon amis!!

  20. Lee says:

  32. So pretty! Our variety of camelias bloom in spring – but it was almost 80F a few days ago and the plants that should be resting are beginning to bud out. Fingers crossed we don’t get a freeze with this predicted chilly week.
Finally a nice day without rain today – hope you pups are out and enjoying good weather, too!

  33. Idaho PugRanch says:
