butt the result of that haircut let her swoon.
It looked sh*tty and it was too short
in vain was every tear and word.
And as if that was not bad enough
they went to a fotostudio after, that was tough.

Once petcretary’s Dad, cut the hair of her and her older sister…and that week we won at the fun fair for being the girls with the shortest hair…Sheesh:) You couldn’t even put pin curls in it…so her Mom decided to give a home perm…OMD! Argghhhhh, that just added insult to injury, cause then they became as poodles…
Your poor Momma! I hope it grew quickly.

Oh that photo of your Mama is so cute! My Mom suffered from “home haircuts” as a little girl because her Mom always cut her hair and had a tough time getting her bangs straight so they’d get SHORTER and SHORTER and SHORTER as she tried to do a straight line. By the time she did it right, the bangs were “bang-less” !!!!

The mama looks very cute girl and she was brave enough to go to a hairdresser. I wasn´t and I didn´t let my mom cut my hair. So the solution was: I was afraid of a chimney sweeper. When he came down from the roof mom asked him inside to have a cup of coffee, and my hair was done at the same time.
I had hair that short… the mama looks cute. I love the horse… a true horse person!

We’ve all had that haircut at one time or another. Or had a mama who smoothed down hair with her spit.

We think your mom looks cute in that picture. According to our Oma when our mom was little she had almost no hair and even dressing her in pink people would think she was a boy. It seems like many girls got mistaken for boys at some point in their lives.

OMG that’s funny. I also had that haircut as a little girl. I thought it was an improvement over my mother pulling my ponytails so tight my eyes watered. Once my niece had a pixie cut and a woman asked her in the dep’t store, are you a boy or girl. My niece answered, are you stupid or rude? Oy!
You short haired guys just have no idea about bad hair traumas, absolutely no idea.

All I can say is that photographer was an idiot for thinking you were a boy! Super cute cut but long is always better and easier to manage. Thank goodness for ponytails!
