BON CHEW&COWCOW,

last weekend we opened the garden season…

…and I showed da Nelly how to dig a tunnel…

…come over da Nelly … for your furst gardening lesson…

…furst you have to look around for da pawfect place…

…I want it here da Phenny that place looks good…

….naah da nelly… this place is better, because there is not so much grass, you have to remove furst…

…then you look if da air is clean before you start….

…and then you start to scratch with your paws like crazy…

…yes that looks not bad, butt you should be faster…. I smell trouble and a dragon in the air…

…. and now  full spead ahead, move your paws!!!

… and now da much impawtant part of da lesson…

….the dragon is on da way… run Forest Nelly run!

…we can tell ya that we have 7 or 8 tunnels in our backyard now, the mama  filled them with fresh earth and covered the eggs-cavation areas with buckets and big flower pots  what we removed within a second…

….but the idea is not bad, now we can cover our tunnels after da work and she will be surprised when she lifts up da cover buckets later … hehehe

HAVE A MARVELOUS MO(A)NDAY ALL

  3. Tunneling is an impawtant lesson for Da Nelly……..you two ought to be able to dig all the way to ANYWHERE with four paws at work!

Our mom loves tunnels. She has been out in all the snow with us helping us build tunnels. I don’t think she likes them in dirt, though. Happy digging.

  10. Da Nelly and Da Phenny well done. Phenny it appears you have a PhD in tunnel digging and Nelly is a wonderful and attentive student. BOL BOL your mom covered your art with flower pots. She is a party pooper for sure.
    Hugs Cecilia

  11. Did you explain to your mama that you were digging the hole for her to drop in the seeds for pretty flowers to sprout?!

  12. #1 put her hands over my eyes when we were reading your post. What’s a tunnel? What’s digging” It sounds like FUN!!!

  15. Kismet says:

Is there a reason that there’s no closed captions for the video and the option for an automatic translation into parrot?

  16. I used to dig tunnels a lot, but then I stopped because Momma kept putting my POOP in the holes!! Honestly, what fun is THAT to find?! Ugh.

  17. Jan says:

Tunnels are an important part of any dog’s yard.

  18. It sounds like you boys were having fun in the yard. We’re not allowed to dig in our yard either but it sure can be fun.

  19. lapaylor says:

    these two are too smart!

  20. Tunnel surprises? You two are most clever. Just beware of the dragon and prepared to turn up the cuteness factor (not a hard thing for either of you guys). 🐉

  21. Uh oh, I saw Rosy taking notes Phenny…she might be planning a new tunnel system here too!

  27. The OP Pack says:

Our ground is wet and muddy on top, but it is still too frozen for digging. Can you believe the MOmster fills our tunnels with poop!!!

  28. Ohh man, tunnels!! I keep digging them when the ground is thawed but some dang kitty uses it as a kitty litter box. I hate smelly tunnels.

    Budd

As soon as all our snow is gone, Luke will be ready to start his on this end so you can meet in the middle!

  30. M. K. Clinton says:

We think tunnels are a great idea. Maybe you can hide treasures in your tunnels and dig them up later.

  31. Dogs and digging – can’t have one without the other (Molly suggests hiding behind a large tree for digging spots…that way the Mama won’t see it…until she falls in it….blame it on the dragons….

  32. KB says:

You two are hilarious! Yes, cover them up after digging 😉

I hope you call dig safe first

Mumsy gave me my own special garden spot and she won’t let me tunnel or dig anywhere else…I try sometimes to dig other places but she catches me every time. Good job on your tunnels you just need a special spot to dig them that is all your own then maybe you won’t have to do any running when the mama comes out. Hugs and nose kisses Chancy
