to FFF FURRYDAY by Aunty Yam

words of page 87: detective, brown, investigation, immediately

Twas a gray winter day, with temperatures that even nitrogen would end frozen… what means it is no t-shirt weather for the peeps of canada, who would say it is a little fresh outside…

… butt nevertheless me, Howlcule Pawriot,  da greatest detective of all time and da Major Pawstinks walked through da botany.

….there were ole brown  leaves efurrywhere butt to our surprise…

…we saw that the roses start to bloom…

…also da pansies….

…and a daffodil what probably confused the time and da seasons…

butt! suddenly we saw a crime scene! Monte Dieu, Sacre bleu  oiweu oiweu!

we started investigation in all  directions immediately….

…and then we wrote down what we saw….

…and also what we not saw…

…at the end we knew that there was a pigeon, chased by a cat or a cat what was chased by a pigeon …. but we neither saw the cat nor the pigeon just the equipment what maybe  belongs to da pigeon or to the cat when flying cats exists like da flying foxes what have no feathers butt can fly anyway like pigeons what have no furs butt can be fur-ious sometimes probably because they are related with wild boars, because of the name pig-eon…

….ummm WHAT???!!!…that is totalement con-fur-sing n’est ce pas? …. Merde…cedes … that is too much for the smart gray cells of Howlcule Pawriot…

…not to mention da non-present  cells in da pomme blanche of da  Major Pawstinks….

…so da greatest detective of all times, Howlcule Pawriot decided to build a bridge over da troubled water in our minds ….and to pass that case to Bridge-t Joan Stutchbury who can use it for her book Investigating da secret lives of berds…

…well major Pawstinks, I think that this were just feathers and today is FURRYDAY but  NOT F(E)ATHERSDAY ….

…so lets stuff that feather stuff in a pillow and we sleep on it over it….

….yeeeeah whatever you think, greatest detective of all times…..

  1. BOL, I don’t think dere are any mystery what happened there!

  2. Don’t know about you two, but we need a nap after that very confusing case 😀

  3. My goodness…..out for a stroll in the country and you find a crime scene to investigate. The famous CRIME-WEIM team figured it out though…..of course! No wonder you needed a very long and snuggly nap together when you got home. Mystery solving is exhausting!

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. I’m thinking that after a good sleep, Howlcule Pawriot and Major Pawstinks will wake up and have solved the crime and arrested the pawpertraitors inthe time it takes to say Agatha Christie.
    Toodle pip!

  5. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

You worked very hard trying to solve the crime. I think the cat was innocent but framed by the wily fox.

  8. Brian Frum says:

You two detectives sure earned a nice snoozy now…and some treats too!

  9. My GBGV Life says:

It’s -24 Celsius this morning. We will be taking a short and fast walk so we don’t freeze to the street! I believe the cat did the feather murder. Cats are killers, I know. I live with two felines.

  10. Jumpin’ Twinies would give Detective Columbo a run for his money.
    the nose…knows…what it knows.

Here, in Arizona, we get visitors in the winter from all over. You can always tell a Canadian. They’re the ones wearing short pants in January.

I love a good mystery! Thanks for the story guys! And the last pic of Phenny hugging Neilly is so sweet. They have really come together as partners havent they?

  13. Love the last picture. Exhausting work all that writing! 🙂 My cats say the cat was innocent. The bird had a heart attack.

  17. I’m surprised you guys don’t have sweaters/coats to wear in this cold Winter weather! Even the collies have been hurrying back inside lately!

  18. I think most of the evidence was eaten by the murderer. You should be looking for Hannibal Lecter’s cat…

  19. Holy Carp! That’s a real mystery! You two deserve a nap!

    The Florida Furkids

  20. That botany was over the top! Man down. I mean bird down! Yikes! What a crime scene. If I came over there, I would love to read over the notes you took.

    Love and licks,

  21. Good detectives, both of you. I came across a falcon who was tearing a blackbird apart one morning.I looked at it and it gave me the evil eye so I didn’t charge at it. Lucky it flew away without the bird. I could have a good sniff at it! Dangerous birds those Falcons!

  22. That’s definitely one way to write down what you saw! You two definitely deserve a nap.

  23. noofmitchell says:

An entertaining tale of mystery. Such hard working detectives…

Zero degrees sounds cold! U got each other to snuggle up with to make u warm. Also if u try farting at each other u might be warmer too.

  33. What a great walk, you guys did excellent figuring out the crime scene. I had to enlarge the photo I thought at first it was cigarettes but then saw feathers .

  34. Deziz World says:

OMC Phenny, is that below 0? That’s not chilly, that’s downright cold. Ya’ll stay warm and toasty. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

  35. Marv says:

It’s not a mystery at all! Queen Penelope did it. Most likely instigated by Easy Rider who thought you guys should have something interesting to discover and think about.

  36. KB says:

FLOWERS! At the end of January?!?!? That is the mystery that you two incredible sleuths should have investigated! But I loved your story!

  37. You two pulling your dad look like a sled dog team. You are perfectly in unison. Maybe your dad could get a small sled and let you pull him around the yard or neighborhood trails?
