BON CHEW & COWCOW
to a new round of Angel Sammys and Teddys Pawetaton in pigtures, look what the two found for this week…
… sweet somehow, huh? Probably a good night story?… We have one too… here we go…
Once a little girl refused to sleep
without going into da dark world deep
via her grampies scary tales
about criminal wimmen and murderous males.
As a boy her grumpy read a magazin
were someone wrote all true crimes & the sentences in.
From that paperstuff the grampy told the little brat
till she screamed and and hid under her blanket flat.
All sleep was forgotten, the girl was in need,
what if someone comes to do such a not so good deed?
And with the true stories in her head she started a horrible riot
till her granny came and called her husband an… well ya know…
…and if you think this little girl was cured,
FURGET IT! the next evening she lured
for her grampy when he came home from work:
Grampy, tell me again about this strangler-jerk…
… da Phenny do you think the mama still knows some of that wild stories?
… I hope not…. at the end one of that criminals comes at night and bites you in the a$$! Ha!

Oh my! Never trust Grandpa to tell a story at NIGHT with all those scary things going on that get “transferred” into the brain of the young dog or child? Well, as long as they are HAPPY STORIES I bet those Grandpa-tales will be magic to enjoy! Thanks for being poetry peeps with us every week.
Da twins my dad read those true detective mags tooo just scary. Like joe Baldwin looking for his head.
Looking handsome today twins
Oh dear! Crime stories before bed is never a good thing.
Lady would not like those stories.
Oh my, creepy cool can be scary at night!
I never liked scary stories! Too much imagination !
You guys are so creative! (And such dedicated bloggers!). We are trying to get our mom to blog more often, but doubt she’ll ever write poems! But she could share some….hmmm, that’s a thought.
You forgot to mention Jack the Ripper.
Oh no – those kind of stories keep us awake at night with the covers pulled over our heads!
**apaws apaws** That was SUM poem you rote Phenny an Neilson…how DO you do that??? Yore both so clever.
Eeek!!! That sounds like one of Mr. King’s skeery stories!!!
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Now we know about Grampy, that explains a lot!
True stories are even scarier than the witch in the gingerbread house that bakes children or the wolf that ate gramma and waited for the girl in the red riding hood.
BOL – your poem reminds Mom of our Dad – he loves to tell the grands stories too, all ones that he makes up. The older they get, the scarier the tales get – and you know what, those silly kids LOVE them.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Bwahaha…that poem makes for a pretty funny night time story itself.
Bwahaahaa! Reminds us of Raoul Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’ Great!
Loved it!! I like scary stuff!!
I don’t like scary stories OR getting bit on my butt! Yikes!
Love and licks,
Another great poem. Is any of it based on actual events?
You write the bestest poems
Hazel & Mabel
Don’t let Grampa tell you any stories, boys!!!
Great poem as always boys. Big hugs
