BON CHEW & COWCOW
to a new round of Angel Sammys and Teddys PAWETRY IN PIGTURES. This week the two picked something very special…
..scary? sad? special? … we said it is superbe for sharing some TRUE facts.
In Pawris is a special place
a cemetery named Pere Lachaise.
There are Jimmy and Honoré and Maria and such
and all who were famous butt also those not so much.
And there is a princess or let’s say just her grave,
who had a not so good life but was very brave.
And instead to give to heritage vultures her dust
she will give it to a brave guy, but he must
spend a whole year in her undercroft
although it is small and not really a loft.
The one who can stand a year without getting nuts
gets a million in cash no if’s no but’s.
A lot people came and tried to stay,
but they all failed and went away.
No one was killed that is just a canard
you can die in Paris, sure life there now is hard.
But in this crypt you can die never
butt maybe you will be on earth forever.
Would you be brave enough to give it a try?
We will watch you butt we will not stand by.
That thing has a hook what leads to a tantrum,
no one knows who will give ya that wampum…
And so we think that offer is pale
and it maybe is a modern fairytale.
would you try it dude? …. my a$$ not for a million!
FYI: there are many rumours about the crypt of Elisabeth Demidoff and a lot say it is just a week you have to stay there…come on people… who makes a million within one week with earning moneeh the hard way? no one I think, so the challenge is for 1 year… and that’s a good deal too… apart from the fact that Princess Demidoff is a vampire…
HAVE A PAWETIC THURSDAY ALL
True confession: I love cemeteries and have been to Pere LaChaise twice. It’s one of my favorites.
Michel Ney, (The bravest of the Brave) Marshal of the Empire, was laid to rest in Pere Lachaise.
I love historic cemeteries and have been to Pere Lachaise twice. It’s amazing.
A million for a year could buy a lotta steaks . . .
We’ll join you Phenny…. 😀
Deep and heavy today Phenny.
That is SUCH a fascinating story! Amazing really how long the story has circulated. I love your poem – it’s fabulous……and I too have been to Pere Lachaise – it’s a most special place indeed. Thanks for being a Poetry Thursday participant – we always look forward to your poems…….
Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too!!)
We would not even want to stay for a day. Very creepy. Cemeteries are interesting, but scary too.

Hugs madi your bfff

What a great poem and story. I, too, have been to that cemetery but could not remember the name until your poem. BTW, whatever happened to the mouse who wanted back in the house?
it’s in la cheze now, my dad had it on the passenger seat (caged) while he drove to the bakery ;O)))
Good ending. Thanks.
What a great story! Historical cemeteries are interesting to visit. Love this memorial stone!
Easy money? We are in!
At my age, a year of my life is worth more than a million dollars.
What a great poem and an interesting story about that princess and her money.
So are you barkin’ that we could be millionaires ifin we live there fur 1 year, Phenny? Cuz, that’s a challenge we’d take. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
It’s like a game of telephone . . . at the beginning she is a princess . . . at the end, a vampire!! ;p
We wonder in whose hands the money ended up in , in the end . . .
the critters in the cottage xo
An outstanding effort today!
