you maybe saw the steam cleaner adventure of the mama at fb, butt if not, I will tell ya da freaky story…
…so there was the mama who wanted to rescue the paw-unfriendly carpet with steaming away the dirty spots… suddenly the steam came out at the wrong place, because the plastic valve fell apart…. who in da world makes plastic valves for steamy stuff? …and who is so crazy to press a finger on the opening to stop da steam? … ok, I bet you will guess who… at the end we had a hot dog what was a finger once, a dead steam cleaner and a half-dirty carpet…
…butt my daddy has a heart for hot-dogs, carpets and the mama and so he ordered her a mighty fine mothers day gift… a new steam cleaner, YAY!
…wait I will open it for you the mama…
..ok… that looks different than the old one… and it has no hole you can cover with your paws…
… steam on the mama and let’s see if we can bring the actual color back…
… yes.. that looks promising and even the carpet looks more aqua than gray now…
…woooooah…. honestly if you live with a weimaraner you should have an eye on more domestic hygiene…just saying…
… but at least it worked nearly as eggs-pected… we give that steam cleaner 3 paws and a wagging tail… it was not eggs-pensive (36.30 euros) and it does its job and it is easy to handle… butt it sadly is not as powerful as the old one and you need more time to chase da dirty spots away and you also can not do tiles on da wall with it … butt for the mama that thingy is ok, even when she would try to vaporize her fingers, it is not pawsible…

Sorry it doesn’t clean quite as well…and now the tiles will have to be cleaned with plain old elbow grease.
We have a steam cleaner – or we did last time I looked. Of course that was a long time ago, but I suspect it’s still around. Not that I have any intention of using it, but I guess it’s there lurking around if I should ever have need of it. So that’s good – yes???

Keeping carpet clean with us around is a chore. We always bring in a lot of dirt to add to the texture of the flooring.
We think the fact that it is safer for your Mama to use is the key feature!!!

it’s always something isn’t it? The carpet looks good from here. Better than the one here with torn bits of paper all over and dirt spots to be cleaned from a certain poodle’s paws. Funny, we take off our shoes at the door, but Milo has no shoes so he tracks in the dirt!

Ouchie, that steam must have really hurt your Mama. And kudos to your Dad for selecting such a good gift for the Mama. Our carpets are all getting pretty dirty too. But Dad keeps saying wait, aren’t we going to get new carpets soon?
