PAWRIS…
late, butt never too late to talk about my adventures in Pawris…
…after an endless odyssey through that Pawris, because that village is a little bigger than my kraal…
…we finally met Jean&Bill at the roof terrace of their fab howltel… let’s say Bill&Jean were faster in Pawris from Canada than my dad from western france…
…that was a great idea this howltel-guys had… there was a small lawn for dogs and that is the thing you hardly can find in that Pawris…so if you travel with a dog to Pawris, pick Mercure Howltel Montmartre…
…we had some coffee and coke and water there…. and the mama got the best coffee she ever had… so another point to visit Mercure Howltels…
… my dad got just a small coke, he wasted to much moneeh while paying taxi drivers for being our scouts….
…after a short break in our howltel room, we started to walk to a famous food-temple … the MOULIN DE LA GALETTE…it was a long and eggs-hausting way to that restaurant, no one told us that Pawris is built on that kill-i-man-sharow…
… so it was no wonder that the mama sent an eye-sos to that waiter to bring on the food… if you miss me, I’m undercover aka under-table with a bone…
….and Bill waited too… after 87 miles uphill we needed a meal im-meal-diately…. and there was also this balcony on the other side of the street… and always if we looked up to that balcony a man was there who smoked a cigarette while watching the food on our plates… bet that was a spy…
…. and here comes the food…
… isn’t that great?…. shrimps with kataifi and they were delicious…
…and because I was such a fab guest… they named even the water after me, ha!
The way home was a little easier, because we went down as fast as the niagara falls… but you need good brakes… otherwise you land in one of that gazillion tables and chairs the people placed efurrywhere…
After all it was a good evening and we had a good sleep… eggscept the mama, who landed on the floor because the beds of Pawris are completely different from your doggy baskets or pillows at home… just saying…
HAVE A GREAT WEDNESDAY….
…and for more travel-tales you can visit the Canadian Cats …
Very impressed with you Da P, visiting a big city for the first time can be overwhelming! Looks like you all had some seriously good food, even if you had to wait 87 hours.
I am so glad to hear this, Pawris should be a great city maybe one day I visit too! Thank you, Love, nia
That looks like a very fun adventure, Da Phenny! We’ll keep that hotel in mind!
Woofs,
Tommy
Thanks for taking us along- what a wonderful trip and good eats!
What a fun adventure and meet-up. The neighborhood looks very pretty, plus I like that it’s so doggie friendly. Plus the bread looks like it’s in a purse! Mom would love to carry that kind of bread purse….
Love and licks,

OMD look at that park on the roof!!! You surely did have a grrreat visit DP – but as to navigation; well that brought back memories of our one and only visit to Paree back in the 1970s (have you heard of those?), when the father managed to go the wrong way down a one way street, then took a turn and drove on the left instead of the right causing a local combustication – and then, to top it off, negotiated the Triumphic Arch roundabout in not-the-local-way… Paree is also the place that the YAMster climbed the Notre Dame towers and discovered at the top she had vertigo. Had not the father been alert, she might have been a squert on that pavement below. No. Memories of Paree are not so fine for me….. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Sounds like a fun little trip. Madison has fallen out of bed here at home several times…not a well balanced sleeper, so she gets how that works.
I haven’t been to Pawris in ages so it’s fun to get to go with you all! Glad you all had such a great time and love seeing your Momma out from behind the camera 🙂 Much love to you all there today.
Looks like some good eats there!
Meeting Blogging friends is absolutely the best experience and it sure looks like you found a little piece of Paris to enjoy your meet and greet with Bill and Jean.
Mom was very interested in the coffee your mom had. My mom is a coffee lover too
WE sure did enjoy the photos
Hugs madi your bfff and mom
Sounds like a grand experience, Phenny! What an adventure!

You have the bestest pawrents! They take you everywhere instead of putting you in doggie camp.
I’ve never been to Paris, it was fun to go with you this way
Oh Phenny, you were SUCH a GOOD boy on that trip!
You’re famous they named the water after you!!!
Why do the serve the bread in a purse, do you get to keep it?
I have never been to Paris
xo Astro
hey hey…I thought the same thing….no money though.
What a cool roof garden. If they allow dogs so many places, maybe it is a place that must be visited. What a party we missed. (Whew, no wonder you were so tired all the way home)
What an awesome time you had. I think this is where ya’ll were when my mom called Mr. Bill that day. Wished my mom/dad could have been there too. Of course, Paris would never be the same – snorts with piggy laughter. What an awesome meet up ya’ll had! ❤ XOXO – Bacon
You are a lucky dog Phenny to travel with your peeps! Nice to meet people we blog with! The water named after you was a fine thing! FOOD looked good… yes!
Oh boy that meal was well deserved and looks deeee lishous

Hee! Hee! They were at my house after they got back to Canada and before they went home to visit the Queen. We were supposed to go out for dinner, but I fooled them…I made pot roast (of Beef). You would have LOVED it Phenny!
Ciao
Barb
PS. Did I ask you to send me your snail mail address? I think I am getting Old Timers disease…I can’t remember anything…
I am sending a little something to all who attended Nellie’s 19th Birthday. Please send it to Nellieontheedge @ gmail.com
It looks like a wonderful trip to Pawris ♥ I’m sure that was a spy watching your food. LOL!
We think so too….sneaky guy.
The roof terrace is just beautiful! And the foodables look fabulous! I hope you got to taste some, Phenny!

What a fun adventure ! Pawris is beautiful but exhausting : Claire and Momo never stay more than 3 or 4 days over there when they go. Purrs

So glad you had a good time in Pawris. Can’t wait to hear about more adventures.

What a pawsome Mini Bar you had in Paw-ris Phenny!!!
A howtel with a special roof lawn for dogs! Give them 5 paws. You are such a good boy, staying under the table–do you think that’s why we never get to go anywhere?
That was a great hotel and the foodables look yummy! So excited that you got to meet Shoko and Kali’s Mom and Dad!

What a grand adventure. The great Easy conquers Paris. It looks like you took your parents on a great adventure. I am sure they are very happy
What a great visit, you were such a great boy! I love the water named after you.
We had such a marvelous time. Could have done without the 30 mile hike uphill before dinner but all part of the adventure.
Jean and Bill
Oh Phenny! What a FABulous trip!!!! AND, you snuck in under the table??! You are one lucky doggie fursure!!!!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
What a fun time!!! I’m so glad that you could go to the restaurant, Phenny!
Pawris – the City of Light – The City of Love and Adventure, and you sound like you had an adventure. You are very lucky to have a mama and a dad that takes you on such great adventures.
We are happy that everybody finally got food after that long, high climb. That was quite an adventure. Mumsy was there briefly many years ago but she didn’t eat or sleep there. Your adventure was longer and more adventurous than hers sweet D Phenny. Hugs and nose kisses
Looks like a fun visit. Glad you all managed the mountain sized street, both going up AND down.
I think that must have been a great adventure. Pawris and everything with the le Moulin in the name are just purrfect places to meet your furriends😎 Double Pawkiss😚❤😻
We’re so glad you had a wonderful time in Pawris!! Trips are wonderful but it’s always great to get back home and sleep in your own bed with your own pillow!! My Mom does understand that one for sure.
