guess what? The mama furgot that easter is THIS weekend and not somewhen in august or so….
… but she fortunately has me and I reminded her to buy my gifts to start the egg-job…
…we sadly had no egg-colors, so the mama…
asked google and google said you can do it with tea…
…so we grabbed some brown eggs, cookered them and threw them in bowls with teabags&vinegar and waited till christmas 87 hours…and then I’ve checked them…
Gaaah the mama, look, they look still like before….
…see… common brown eggs…
…ok I will not discourage ya, so let’s say those look different than before…
… like dirty common brown eggs…
…guess what? I’m no longer in this egg-cellent fail… the eggs look all egg-al ….
I rather decorate the house a little with the empty egg-boxes….
…that’s more egg-siding…
… even when that leads to eggs-ile …
….it’s better to be in an eggs-clave than to be a part of that eggs-cessive fail….
…. butt the pad is uncomfy so I better enter that eggs-clusive seat in the front row to watch the eggs-tended disaster…
…the eggs-tremely poor try to pimp the dirty common brown eggs with decals makes it not better woman…. just saying…
…. they look like dirty common brown eggs with decals now…. but the will is taken for the deed… and for your comfort…

I think the decal eggs with the little chicken run/house looked pretty. I think the mama did well. It’s been a stressful week what with Paris, Normandy and all — Just saying
Um…those eggs of décor don’t look too shabby at all if you ask me! But empty eggs??? OMD!!! Someone stolded the inards…thud…now there can’t be no wee chicks to chase…or snuggle.
Yes and have a Happy Easter Too…after that its Maundy Thursday and then Tenebrae, and then Good Friday…Holy Sarday…and then Bunny Day…no wait, Its then The Easter Day. Phew a ways off yet. Good thing petcretary has to work she is all befuddled in her head of late…BOL!
I told you she was addled…Saturday…not Sarday…sheesh its like sardines or something yucky like that…Holy Sardines???

I think the eggs look great but it’s how they taste that matters!

We only get brown eggs here, too. And they don’t take colour very well. We always have dirty blue, or dirty pink….
Dirty common brown eggs look rather nice dolled up as Easter eggs!
Although the tea did NOTHING, I think the stickers did make an improvement on the eggs. They look very festive and blinged-out in that sweet Easter dish. Plus they will certainly be more delicious than the ones filled with air!

It’s easy to get confused after a big vacation in Pawris and Normandy so give the Mama a break…..double-brown eggs with decals are better than no eggs at all right? AND, those beautiful eggs by Bunny-girl are really nice and maybe Mr. Easter Bunny will put some goodies inside those eggs for you if you’re VERY GOOD Phenny!

I’s gonna put turmeric in the boiling water; then at least my eggs will be darker s***brown – and then the fibre pens will work some kind of mess imitating art upon those shells. It’ll keep me out of mischief for 87 minutes. Blessed Easter to all of you in that crib!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
So you will have a all natural eggs for Easter. Momma says it’s OK they will taste just the same when you take off the shell. . I think the empty eggs are worse, you can’t eat air. hehehhe

You inspire me. I never would have thought of using brown dye on brown eggs. My eggs are white-I think I’ll paint them white.
We never get fancy eggs or regular ones either, but we will be ready to do the bunny hop Phenny!

PEE S… this is Not NEARLY as bad as what our dad and his Brother had to do fur Colored Eggs… THEY had to rub the Shells with DANDY LION Blossoms… Don’t think that did much in the way of color either… prolly looked like Chicken Poops on there. YUCK !!!!

They may be brown, but I saw some cool freckles so that’s a pretty clever trick with tea. Hope yours was a “hoppy Easter.”
Beet juice can be used to color eggs. Might even work on brown eggs.
