…SEE BEAUTIFUL
a bloghop hosted by SUGAR the Golden Retriever
…with a beautiful DIVA who celebrates her Birthday today:
… and with a beautiful thing what happened yesterday… guess what?
yeeeeeah!
And look what Shoko&Kali, the Canadian Cats, sent to me:
it is one of the traditional chinese red parcels for chinese new year! There is a monkey because this year is the year of the monkey and my momma is one too, so maybe she has a little more good luck this year…. and then there are flower seeds (furgetmenot) for creating something what will grow… and the red envelope and the lucky coin 1 CATnadian dollar, we will put in my wallet for avoiding galloping consumption there and then there is the symbol for prosperity luck and good health (oh yeah we can need that).
Shoko&Kali even included a lot of interesting reading-stuff about the chinese New Year, there are rules for givers and do’s and don’ts… do you know that it brings bad luck to give something away what’s connected with the number 4? And do you know that it also brings bad luck to give sharp things away like knives, needles or high heels? And shoes generally are a not so good idea for a gift…. I like it that there is a meaning behind everything you get or you give away… and I will read and learn more about chinese culture, that’s for sure.
Shoks&Kali also included a bag with ginger candy and the famous chinese fruits what are dried and sugar coated…
And then
+,,,,,,something happened what was totally crazy…. My momma just worked on a giant meow-graine and before that torrent of pains comes down on her head she has to feed it, preferably with super sweet things like meringue or crullers…
So she grabbed that bag and threw all that coconut strips, the oranges and the I-don’t-know-butt-tasty-fruits in her mouth…. and guess what? That was so over-hyper-sweet that the meowgraine couldn’t stand it and disappeared… and that was beautiful too, because so it couldn’t ruin two days of my mommas life…
maybe the chinese amulet for good health worked immediately as we placed it in my crib?
MANY THANKS TO SHOKO&KALI AND THEIR FABULOUS PAWRENTS!
What a BONANZA of fun stuffs from Shoko and Kali you got – you lucky pup you! I didn’t know all that stuff about giving gifts. Of course I can’t remember the last time I gave high heels for a present….or anything sharp…..I’m not allowed near sharp stuff PERIOD. I’m glad that the yummy candy they sent got rid of your Mom’s meow-graine though. My Mom used to get those but when she stopped taking estrogen (whatever on earth THAT is) she stopped with the meow-grains! Magic! Anyway, sending HUGS across the pond for all of you.
Love, Sammy
Wow, if the amulet worked on your Mom’s migraine, that is really wonderful news!
What exciting and interesting gifties Easy
Loves and licky kisses

Momwithoutpaws is jealous, she likes things that grow. Birthdays and birthday treats are awesome. Let us not forget Momwithoutpaws calls me a Monkey sometimes.. SO I will give her a year of the Monkey Business
Wow, the Chinese red parcel looks really good! This year is the Year of the Monkey and one of my aunts is a MONKEY too! We just finished our fun and yet tiring Lunar Chinese New Year celebration and my humans had lots of visitors and visitings during those 15 days of the festive season. They ate a lot too but nobody really cared to share with me though. Boo 😦

Cool New Year swag! I LOVE that headache cure – sugary fruit candy! Brilliant. Mom says I GIVE headaches, I don’t GET them, so I guess no candy for me….. Rats!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Wow! That amulet must have super powers! If it (along with sugared fruit) scared away a meow-grain… I’d wear it daily 😃
now that was a good surprise! What a nice connection you have to receive such nice gifts in the mail. Your girlfriend sure is cute too
Great gifties, and best of all, the ones that ended the bad migraine! Those cats know what’s what for sure. And hey, it is true about knives and friendships. Mama found out first hand, so unless we loathe & despise ya ( and why would we give you a gift in that case ?), we don’t give any sharp gifts….this includes biting…….
Wow the power of sweet things. That is beautiful.
Blessings,
Buddy
Brother – that is totally awesome!! Look at all those terrific goodies… XOXO – Bacon
P.S. Don’t give shoes – really? I guess your mom will have to keep buying her own then – snorts with piggy laughter.
yes, that was my first thought too… but my daddy loved it lol

What pawsome gifts. Canadians are awesome! Our Lady is a rabbit and the Man is a tiger. We are getting a monkey human cousin this year.
Happy Birthday Sugar….have a great day. Be good or try to be…MOL
It took forever for the Chinese goodies to reach you Easy. Mom mailed them before Chinese New Year started. So much for Canada Post. Mom says the sugary round thing with big holes in it, is really a big slice of lotus root. Mom just likes to look at it but I guess your mom ate hers to get rid of the meow-grain. Glad they finally arrived.
Shoko

Wow some great loot you got. I have been out of the loop, thank you for telling me about my Sis Madi!!
Ziggy Out!
What a great gifts Easy. I googled the seeds because I hadn’t heard of them and thought they must be from Asia. I realize they are for all over. Those sweets especially with ginger sound great! Good luck! 😀
I don’t put outfits on the girls. The most “dressed up” they get is a bandana now and then. And I don’t like tv that much – I’d rather be outside throwing a ball for or playing chase me with them. But it looks like you enjoyed it and that makes me smile. Happy Saturday, Easy!
Cool gifts! So glad your momma was able to divert the meowgraine, those can be so wicked and ruin a good day.
Yay for the meow-graine cure….what a great package that turned out to be, even better than expected!
You sure got some great stuff and just in time to help your mom. Happy belated birthday Madi!
Very beautiful friends you have.
