Walk-Your-Dog-Week-2015-1-150x150

DAY1 of #DOGWALKINGWEEK

We started with an EASY walk at noon to a pawtrol around my kraal…

IMG_0226

…  we left the civilization behind us soon  and walked through the prairie, because I live in a small kraal…

IMG_0228

…. I wrote a peemail on the last house, just in case we will not find the way back…

IMG_0230

…to make it more interesting Mother Nature threw a gazillion of acorns on our way… that’s like walking on marbles and you have to be careful that you will not lose yours with landing on your butt…

IMG_0231

…  as we waddled around on that acorn-plastered way we had to pass egg-stremely dangerous animals…

IMG_0233

…and I started like a rocket with the humanoid kite in tow…

IMG_0234

…fortunately that cow-monsters had to stay behind the fence and so I could give my attention to  impawtant things…

IMG_0237

…I interrupted my business  as I heard someone who called my name…

IMG_0238

What? Wait, I’m coming….

IMG_0239

….it was the Malinois who said hell-o with eggs-cessive barking, because she was jealous that she has to wait for her walk…. that ole bat!

IMG_0240

… because that girl is a freak who tried to eat my daddy’s hand once, I speeded home with mach 2 to save my dad from the man-eating Malinois….

IMG_0223

Phew! … escaped by the skin of my teeth… exhausted butt happy ….

HAVE A SUPER SATURDAY ALL

  5. bichonpawz says:

I loved this post!! Oh dear…we don’t think we would like pictures of us doing our “business”! 🙂

  6. Cupcake says:

Pretty busy walk, E. You took care of ALL the business. Did you taste an acorn? Mom keeps telling me they’re poison. I’m pretty sure she’s lying, but I won’t know till I manage to get one.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  7. Nice walk you and your Dad went on…….you “did your business” in spite of the interruptions from the yelling/screaming Malinois and killer cow! Bravo! I’d say your day out with dad was a big success………………

    Hugs, Sammy

  8. Your walk is a great adventure Easy. Glad your Dad didn’t take a spill on those acorns! Looks like you earned that nap!

    Marty

  9. Buddy says:

Oh walks are the best. I like to sometimes go for a walk carrying a ball. That’s just incase someone wants to play ball along the way.
    Blessings,
    Buddy

  10. Goose says:

What a wonderful walk Easy. I have not seen a monster like that yet. Momma says they are around here too. I best keep my eye out for them. I of course like to walk carrying a ball in my mouth. That might come in handy if I see a cow monster.
    Blessings,
    Buddy

  11. fredrieka says:

I think your dad needs weights in his pants to hold him on the ground

    • he was very pixxed that I had his ole pants in the photos, but I wonder why he wore it when they look like a potato bag? My mom had that pants in the ragbag 87 times… and he always rescued that (F)artpiece :o(

  12. Jan K says:

What a great walk, Easy! You take such good care of your Dad in keeping him safe from all of those monsters! We’re so glad you joined in our Walk Your Dog Week celebration, and can’t wait to see what else you get up to out there!

Skating on acorns is no tidy practice, this I know!!! Well done fur getting the papa back to the crib intact, Easy!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  14. Emmadog says:

Nice walk! Watch out for those acorns, they landed my Mom on her behind once. When she fell we tackled her thinking she wanted to play, but she was not amused.

It looks like at least one of you had fun on the walk Easy!

  18. Earl Lover says:

Looks like a fun walk had with your daddy. Glad he’s up and going as normal again. 🙂

  19. saymber says:

Looks like you had a good walk with your Dad — Link and Spot enjoyed their walk with us this morning…it’s finally fall here and under 90 degrees! It was like 68 or something…delicious. We have a lot of “jealous” types in our neighborhood too…so sad that some dogs never see outside the backyard gate…through slats in the fence. It’s prison in a way. Sigh. Have a great weekend and hugs to your Mom and Dad.

  20. Kismet says:

Don’t be touching those acorns. That’s bird food

  21. dorysbackyard says:

What a beautiful walk (except for that scary doggy)!! We are going to have our Mama take us for a walk today too!!!
    Smileys!

  24. carentaylor says:

LOL you made me laugh so much 😀 😀 I too have been a humanoid kite behind Peppy many a time!! A very exciting but tiring walk judging by your sleepy face SWEET DREAMS xx

  25. Lassie Benji says:

Why does something or someone always interrupt us when we r going potty outside. Dont they know we spent like 15 minutes searching fur the best spot to go…then we get interuppted!

  26. OMD, I loved that I am not the only one who has to walk with a ‘human kite’ in tow!!! BOL!!! Just yesterday, I almost knocked Ma on her arse because two doggies were barkin’ at eachother, and I just had to see what they were arguing abouts! hehehehe
Oh, and our whole backyard is FULL of those acorns! I know of what you speak Easy!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  27. Dolly the Doxie says:

What an exciting walk Easy! That dog isn’t the unspayed girl is she? Is so I want you to stay away from her so as not to make any unwanted puppies. Glad you protected your dad from falling and the cows. Thanks for joining #DogWalkingWeek!! Love Dolly

  28. Bella, Roxy & Macdui says:

Great walk! Now, we go for walks every morning, so Walk Week is same ol’ same ol’ here. SHE gets bored with the same walks, so we usually vary where we go.

  29. Interesting walk…..glad nobody lost any body parts!!

  30. DailyMusings says:

what a great walk Easy- you really live in the country with cows and all. So nice

  31. The OP Pack says:

We didn’t know about Walk Your Dog Week, but that must be why Mom has been walking us a couple of times a day this week. The weather here has been nice – sunny and cool and delightful.

Hope you and Dad get another fun walk, minus the acorns, scary animals, and crazy Malinois.

    Woos – Ciara and Lightning

  32. Those acorns are like the Birch pods around here. The pods don’t hurt to walk on them but stick to our furs around our toes and we end up ripping the pods off our paws and that hurts! I saw a swimming pool. Are you taking lessons, Easy? Lucky you…I don’t envy you a bit my friend.

    (((Shoko)))

  33. It would have been even more dangerous had some squirrel been throwing those acorns around, maybe accidentally at someone even. I’ve heard they do those kinds of things sometimes…

  34. speedyrabbit says:

After all that exercise you just need to take it “Easy” hehehe,xx Speedy

  35. tylersat99 says:

it’s great that you started walk your dog week Easy and looks like a great walk. Just be a little Easy on Dad since he has been not up to full energy, but is good to keep him safe. It rained every day this week, so we are hoping for sun tomorrow 🙂

  36. Awww what a handsome boy you are Easy! Walks are the BEST!

  37. boscocat says:

Easy I hope you managed to finish dropping those friends off at the pool before Madame malinois with a face like an angry half sucked aspirin could chase you …

  38. Do we know about those acorns this year?!!! They are hitting the roof right now as I type. Can’t leave the vehicles under the trees and walking on our gravel is double treacherous now. Also the squirrels (blasted little chewers and diggers) don’t have enough yard to bury their acorns so they have torn up what is left of my potted plants stuffing acorns down in the pots!!!

  39. MOL ! That was a very detailed post of your trail ! Purrs

  40. harrispen says:

That looked like a perfect walk, except for those acorns. You can’t be too careful since your dad already fell on his head. We wouldn’t want him to fall again because of some little acorns.

    Millie & Walter

  41. Nylabluesmum says:

That was a zippy walk you took yur Pappaw on!! An that Mallie-noise doiggie sundss sorta scary Easy!
    **nose bumpsss** Siddhartha Henry xxxx

  42. Pawsome walking technique, Easy. Sam has a ‘friend’ like the Malinois but he’s mostly stopped coming to the fence after Sam pee-mailed him one day. Boys doing boy things! 😉

  43. Sounds like a fine walk. We have a ton of acorns up at the cabin this year too. They are a pain to walk on.

  44. what a great walk, I love pooping photos.
