maaaaan that was a night…. we had firework to celebrate the Paw-stille Day and there was a pawty the whole night. Think they probably stormed the Bastille again although we don’t have such a thingy here…. Today we all are dogtired and my mom is as grumpy as an alligator with toothaches… and therefore the one who had his paws on the WP-disimprovement button should better run for its life… just saying…
I was in my backyard to watch the firework and hey I barked louder than that colored farts they sent to the sky… and well, what shall I say… I think the quote of The 90th Birthday fits best:
The same procedure as last year Miss Sophie? The same procedure as EVERY year, James!
Butt I’m a good sports and I took new photos instead to use those from last year hehehe…
Efurry crowd of three thieves and 2 fences has an own firework and we pondered what GOOD things we could do with all the moneeh what they blow in the air for nothing at all…not to mention the PM10 what’s like pesticide for the environment… It’s allright as long as we have to waste our moneeh for buying particulate matter badges…

Love to look at those fireworks but they do make a lot of noise. Bonne Fete! I remember I was in Paris on July 14 1983, I watched the fireworks from my aunt’s balcony that faced the Eiffel tower- quite a show! Thank you for reminding me of that!
Very colorful things in the sky there in your neighborhood but I’m sure they kept you from getting your usual amount of beauty sleep! Happy PAW-STILLE Day!!!!
Happy Pawstille Day brother. Fireworks huh? I’m glad other peeps pay to do them cause I wouldn’t spend my allowance on them. They are pretty to look at though from the comfort of your own crib. Stay safe – your pics look awesome! XOXO – Bacon
Sadly, most Americans have never heard of “Dinner for One”. We watched it every New Year’s Eve in Germany…same procedure as every year. Actually, Mom named my cat sis Miss Sophie after the movie, but we usually just call her Sophie. Such a dumb but funny skit! Wish it was on TV in the USA.
We watch the 1963 original on You Tube every year and we still laugh ourselves sick. Wonder if I can copy the URL here – let’s try https://youtu.be/6lzQxjGL9S0
We have found it online, but it would be nice to have it on TV for Americans to see, but I guess that will never happen. We are happy we know the skit!
Well after (how many years since 1789?) Bastille day is still a good reason for a party. I just wish some clever human could make quiet fireworks – I hate the noise.
Happy Belated Bastille Day!! Easy I love how you barked your approval (NOT!) of the fireworks! Your Mom did a superb job in photographing them! Barks and licks and love, Dakota

Congrats on getting so many pretty farts on film… talking films, Dinner 4 1 is a total CLASSIC!!! … some behind the network alternations going on? lots of place like to ring the changes – just wish they’d give a warning before-hand – a little bit of flag waving perhaps….nah.. let’s leave that Bastille Day &*>
Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Some people just don’t seem to know that there might be better things they could do with their money! We all wish we had so much we could be so careless with it, right?
Ciara is very happy we don’t celebrate Pawstille Day here – she has had it with fireworks!!! But just the same, Happy Bastille Day to you and your family.
ummm… well… nothing :o) there was a dance with food and booze, but I rather celebrated this day with a long nap, the pawty people were on the road till the next morning :o(
Oh, my. RC Cat is terribly annoyed to have missed Paw-stille Day due to her recent dietary depression. She does love a good celebration. She says the French decorate so much more elegantly than the colonies… She does appreciate the attempt to let hew know with the supercharged lightning bug gymnastics. Salute!
Thee firewerkss are purrty butt they ARE noisey an they do poe-lute thee air…
if people fed thee poor with thee $money$ spent on them crackers then no one wood bee hungree rite Easy???

You told those fireworks where to get off, E. Good job. Usually, I just ignore them. Some of my friends hide under the furniture and shiver.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I’m a hero since last year… before 7/14 2014 I was in my closet between the clothes and danced the unhappy shake… but please keep that secret :o)
Dinner for one quote is perfect 😀 Happy holiday dear boy – we wish they didn’t burn the cash either 😦

I agree with your female human, I have not come to like that new sight of wordpress, yet … and that is putting it mildly.
I’m sure you scared those fireworks off for at least a year.

I’ve missed your fun posts while I’ve been away, Easy! Hopefully we won’t have any more long absences. 🙂
Well after (how many years since 1789?) Bastille day is still a good reason for a party. I just wish some clever human could make quiet fireworks – I hate the noise.
