to the Mayorz FFHT-BLOGHOP and to Bacon’s SHOW&TELL… this time Bacon asked for a HILARIOUS GIFT…

What shall I say… we had a lot of this gifts in my crib… but one of that gifts jumped in my mommas face immediately as she removed the wrapping paper… and this gift screamed: DO YA REMEMBER???!!!

…oh well yes she did… she remembered the time as she and her bff were “Modern Talking”

the time  they cried bitter tears as their pawrents said NO! to the Springbreak Pawty… and european Springbreak Pawties aren’t far away in Florida, they were quasi in front of the door, in El Arenal on Majorca…

Oh little did this girls know about life, sorrows and grief…

Far away from losing grandparents, friends and furfriends… the years of tears were so darned far away like  El Arenal that time for my mom and her friend.

The evening the photo on the shirt was taken, was a special one… they both were dressed up for pawty and totally pixxed, because they had to be back at home before midnight… if not the carriage will turn into a rotten pumpkin and the tons of aquanet in their furs will become lice… they have to stay at home in future  till the hell gets frozen. The two girls ignored that rule and they gave a monkeys fart on that friendly warning… and around 00:30 AM my grampy popped up in that Disco-crib… he went to the DJ who gave him his mic and then he called the names of the two criminals and said that they are just 16  and school girls and that they  have to go to bed now… and that after they told efurrybuddy they are 20 and two super talented singers on the way to Howl-i-wood….

What the Fu…ton-bed…

Rest in pieces teenage-dignity… Welcome to the funeral of their social life… suddenly emigration  to Mars sounded like a reasonable solution…

And with standing ovations and excessive hooting of the drunken crowd – notabene mostly underaged too – the two Disco Queens left that shack…

That time the photo was taken she thought she has no pawrents but gaolers and they have fun to ruin her complete social life. She was mad as hops about the bursted Springbreak trip, mad about the restrictions and rules…mad at the whole world… but some years (87!) later she realized that she was wrong and she knew she needed a good excuse for all her foolish behavior …

… she was a TEENAGER… what else.. that explains all :o)

Modern Talking is history today – fortunately. But the shirt is still there and the two girls are still friends. Butt today they are wiser and older and they never make the mistakes they made that time the photo was taken… butt they make other mistakes… a lot..

… and grab a margarita if you have teenagers in da house…

  3. Bella, Roxy & Macdui says:

How embarrassing….. SHE remembers doing stuff like that. Great shirt.

  4. Oh dear…..well, being a teenager isn’t always EASY, and getting into trouble or doing crazy things is the “normal”………my Mom actually got MARRIED for the first time when she was a teenager so that’s proof! Anyway, the shirt will remind your Mom of those disco-queen days when they were TWENTY and ROCK STARS until Grampa came to get them! Great story.

    Hugs, Sammy

    • I so agree… and if someone will ask me if I want to be young again, I will say YES, but never never ever a teenager…. (because aquanet is no longer available in our stores hahahahaha)

  5. grannyK says:

This is priceless! Thanks for the morning giggle.

  6. ahhaha…I remember those times.. When you really didn’t want to be associated with your parents. At least not in front of your friends. Parents were old fuddy duds and not to be trusted. I even had the audacity to tell my mother she was jealous cause she’d like to be partying too. I saw the inside of our for many months after mouthing off like I did.

  7. bichonpawz says:

Ha! Awesome shirt!! I remember those times very well. We will definitely have a couple of Margaritas!!

  8. Brilliant 🙂 very wild look lol.

  9. Midwestern Plant Girl says:

    Wow. Great story!
It was like yesterday when I was climbing out windows with my London cut jeans, ripped t-shirt and 5 inch high hair to go rock out at a Def Leppard concert…
I am both sad and happy we didn’t have camera phones back then. Sad I don’t have a photo like you for a banging t-shirt memory.. Happy that there isn’t any evidence that links me to my many crimes of teen-dom!

    • you’re right… I don’t want a picture of my most embarrassing moments… and to see me that way on youtube gives me a little belly aches :o) but it’s sad that I have not much pictures of friends and people I met… wonder how they will look today :o)

  10. OMC what a story. Your Mom and her friend must have been soooo embarrassed!!! Thanks for sharing!

  12. PigLove says:

HA! Snorts brother – that was a woe of a tale from your mother. And then to have paw show up announcing at the party. WOW that was a misfortune of bad luck. The only thing that would have made it worse is if he showed up in his pajamas … tell me he didn’t. rolls with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

  13. Love this… nothing better than teenage angst. When you are a teenager… I could not survive it now.

  14. saymber says:

Very serious expressions on such beautiful faces lol. You haven’t changed much 🙂 Fun story about the good ol’ days – what a lurid bestseller it would be to compile everybody’s LOL.

  15. The OP Pack says:

Mom is always telling Lightning he is like a wild teenager, but we don’t think he has ever gone on a Spring Break:) That shirt is a great way to remember that blast (NOT) from the past!!!

    Woos – Ciara and Lightning

  16. LOL oh the indignity! Poor teenagers. Poor parents.

  17. Kismet says:

You forgot to say that her social life improved greatly when you entered her life. Your sense of style got rid of the ugly shoes and clothes, for starters.

  18. I had never heard of Modern Talking before. Looks like they were never big in the US… and I ‘m guessing we got lucky there.

  19. Madi and Mom says:

  20. Cookie says:

Oh, Easy, that was funny. Mum has lots of old pictures (lots in black and white — shows how old they are) from when she was a teenager in London!!! She LUVS to look back at them.
btw–animal planet was showing all about Weimeraners on Dogs 101!! Mum has always loved Weims and so I wanted to watch it too. You certainly are part of a very distinguished breed!!!

  33. Jan K says:

  36. BOL…oh boy, your poor teenage mom! But, well…pretty sure everyone has at least one of those kinds of moments growing up. BOL

  37. Way too funny, Easy … Mum reckons all teenagers should be frozen and left that way until they are at least 21. She doesn’t want to remember her teenage years.

  38. OMD! I know that your mom must have been mortified! I’m just thankful there was no internet when we were going up!

  39. kolytyi says:

OMG, poor mom, degradation from the Disco Queen to a schoolgirl… – or was that rather a déclassé? Anyway, your grampy was a very wise man. I wonder what was he like as a teenager 🙂
