Hell-o…

and a

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

to all daddy’s on slice earth, Mars and Melmac…

image030

Geez! I sadly furgot to buy a gift for my dad, butt I shared MY Ben&Jerry with him…

image004

…he got the nuts for his nut and the chocolate bananas, because they are not good for dogs and they give you anyway just pipe blockages… said my momma…

image005

Well… that sounds a little poor, right? So I decided to take  him for a long walk…

image031

I first picked Renè, although he is still on parole, because he parked his butt on my mommas lap, that’s a capital crime… then I picked  the Abbabye Cistercienne Notre Dame de Timadeucit’s a good chance, maybe they need an additional monk and they will keep my dad? who knows… and Renè too? Boy, that would be the jackpot…it’s an interesting place full of history and mystery… it’s near Brehan and the monks describe this place that way:

image053

Au fond du désert où dieu te mène…Far into the wilderness where god leads you…

As we  came to that abbey I  felt a special need, butt because I have good manners I picked the right place…

image036

…also for the other part of my business… butt like always, tp-rolls in public loo’s are rare and so I had to help myself with my mommas pants… Sh*t happens…

image064

The abbey was founded in 1841 and till today the monks are there. They make cheese, the “Trappe de Timadeuc”, a pressed uncooked type of cheese and they make fruit jellies from fruit oil or natural fruits after a secret old recipe without artificial colors and chemical stuff. They are trappist monks and that means they live in ascetisism with silence, work and penance… Visitors are welcome, they have guest houses for people who need a break and who want to go in strict enclosure for a while …

image035

Contrary to our habit to be always too late, this time we came to early and the gate was closed, so we visited  the monastery from outside and  spend some time in the park of that abbey.

image033

I also invited my guardian pug Greta for a walk, she jumped in my mommas pocket and came with us as we discovered the  area… I made a picture gallery, because we took a lot photos…

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

After walking around there we hopped in the elephant skater and drove back… sadly the monks said  Get thee hence, Satan No thanks… as I offered  my dad and Renè… sh*t… maybe next time…or the next abbey… butt that’s for sure that they never would hire my momma… they are trappist monks and my mom is the last living thing on earth what can shut her trap…that means she is withdrawn from service there…

    • … me too, because he will share more ice cream with me… but that they said no to Renè is a miracle… he has long teeth and can help to cut the chesse there :o)

  3. What a beautiful place to spend Father’s Day even though you weren’t able to “volunteer” your Dad to become their newest monk-man! I do think that you should next time maybe use the GRASS as toilet paper instead of your Momma’s pants – know what I mean????? Please give your Dad a hug from your Spoiled Cat Friend in Virginia on this special day of Dads……….

    Hugs, Sammy

What a great place to visit! Wes has Skycliffe, HÜMÜH Buddhist Monastary up the Christian Valley road and peoples goes there to release the tensions and strains of their busy lives.
Ben and Jerry’s does that too!
Wes been there (Skycliffe) and it does not look any different than where wes lives (which is really close). Mommy says the only difference between them and here is that if she was visiting there, it would bes a strange bed and wes could not go.

  26. Wow, That walk was awesome…an excellent Father’s Day present. Mom would love to taste this cheese…it has such a history. The hydrangeas at the end are beautiful. Mom has pink hydrangeas…she says next year they will be blue. She is going to do something to the dirt around them. Ya, OK mom…we’ll see next year what kind of wizard YOU are. MOL

  29. Say “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY” to your daddy. I think he needs it after chasing you around the abbey and trying to explain to the brothers why you peed on their bushes.

  33. That is a lovely place to tour. My mom would get booted out immediately because she would talk to the non-speaking monks and they would banish her. It was very polite of you to go pee by the fancy Pee Here sign. You are a great boy.

You found a nice place to visit (nice touch they have signs for those special areas and that you can read so well) “Far into the wilderness where God leads you” I like htat phrase…God sent dogs to get you there, too? Paw waves from the sweltering coastal plains
